Joint stiffness that is worst first thing in the morning?
Some people describe waking feeling stiff, tight, or uncomfortable when they first get out of bed.
The first few steps can feel awkward or painful, yet as they begin moving around, the joints gradually loosen and become easier.
It may affect the knees, hips, lower back, hands, or feet, and for some people it has slowly become part of everyday life.
Many people simply put it down to ageing and assume they must learn to live with it.
As a homoeopath, I consider the pattern carefully — when it happens, what improves it, what aggravates it, and what else may be happening alongside it.
Rather than simply accepting the same cycle day after day, I aim to work with you to reduce this tendency.
