Today at the London event I asked everyone to use their fingers to show how they felt out of 10. I am going to ask you the same question.

How do you feel from 0 - 10? 👆 🙌

The Balance Trick™

“I keep forgetting to take my ADHD meds / HRT / vitamins.”

“Where do you keep them?”

“In the drawer / cupboard…”

If you keep forgetting to take your tablets, don’t rely on memory rely on your environment.

Leave them next to your toothbrush so taking them becomes part of something you already do every day. No extra memory needed, just a smarter routine.

Small changes in setup can create big changes in consistency.

What simple tweak could you make today to make a healthy habit easy?

Because life’s a balance trick.

Do you need to drink more water?

Habit stacking is one of the easiest ways to make healthy changes stick. Instead of relying on memory or motivation, you attach a new habit to something you already do automatically.

I leave a glass in the bathroom and drink water every time I go to the loo. Drinking enough water becomes easy rather than something I have to remember.

What tiny habit could you stack onto something you already do every day?

Wednesday Win

One of the simplest ways to build a consistent exercise habit?

Lay out your kit the night before.

When your trainers, clothes and water bottle are already there:

* No thinking
* No debating with yourself
* No “I’ll do it later”

You wake up and the decision is already made. It’s not about willpower it’s about making the right thing the easy thing.

What’s one small thing you could prep tonight to make tomorrow’s workout more easy?

Have you heard of “Admin Nights”?

A brilliant new social trend, people are getting together with laptops / those scary brown envelopes tackling life admin.

Think:

* Paying bills
* Updating passwords
* Clearing email inboxes
* Booking appointments
* Sorting the things that sit on your mental to-do list for weeks

It works because of accountability, connection and reduced overwhelm. These are all things that can make a huge difference for people with ADHD traits or perimenopausal brains, where executive function and mental load can feel extra tough.

Sometimes what we really need isn’t more discipline, it’s the right environment.

What’s the one piece of life admin you’ve been putting off doing?

I’ve woken up on the 1st February with a 100% body battery.

How???

Not drinking alcohol.

This isn’t a preachy post about dry January, this is just the facts about the impact on sleep.

* Reduces deep sleep
* Increases 2–4am wake-ups
* Raises resting heart rate overnight
* Leaves your nervous system less recovered for the next day

Have you felt calmer, clearer and more energised after just a few alcohol-free nights?

Better sleep isn’t about doing more.
Sometimes it’s about removing the one thing quietly working against you.

This is not about never drinking again, but if performance matters to you start with your nights.

Life Win

If you’ve got ADHD tendencies or a perimenopausal brain, Apple AirTags are basically tiny sanity savers.

Keys, wallet, gym kit etc…. no more 10-minute house searches when you’re already running late.

Less stress = better mornings

We have these on every set of keys we own.

What’s one thing in your house you’d tag first?

ADHD is not a lack of intelligence or motivation.

This is just one of the things I shared during my “ADHD in the workplace” session with yesterday.

Simple tip:

Don’t assume everyone works best the same way. Ask your team how they focus best, not just what they’re working on. Flexible deadlines, clear priorities, and fewer unnecessary meetings can make a huge difference (for ADHD brains and everyone else).

This is an important conversation and I’m excited to be bringing it into the workplace.

“Michelle, I just want to be happy” said many of my coaching clients.

We’re taught to chase success. Targets. Growth. Performance. The next milestone. But we often get there and realise we have forgotten that ultimately we want to be happy.

High performers often delay it, assuming it comes after the achievement. In reality, happiness is something you practise alongside the work.

A few simple ways to build it into everyday life:

* Prioritise sleep and recovery, tired people struggle to feel joy
* Move your body regularly, not just to train but to reset your nervous system
* Spend time with people who let you be fully yourself
* Create space to breathe, reflect and switch off
* Measure success not just by output, but by how you feel doing it

A successful life isn’t just one that looks good on paper, it’s one that feels good to live.

If you have just added “Happiness” to one of your goals for 2026 drop me a DM to chat through how you make sure you achieve it.

I don’t have any friends.

This is how I felt when I left London and moved to Shoreham in 2022, I knew no one locally apart from my husband.

This is often a subject that comes up during my coaching, even more so post covid where people may have moved location, job or away from previous friendships.

I knew I had to do something about it.

It started with a comment on a local Facebook group, then I created my own FB group, then I turned up in a pub garden and others joined me, then we met again and again. Then 2 wonderful friends ( & ) and I created , a place where women come together to support each other (and laugh a lot!).

This was our meet-up last night.

Making new friends as an adult can be difficult but I promise you are not alone if you feel lonely. I did.

There are so many local community events, and if there isn’t one near you…. Maybe you could start one.

What have you got to lose?
Think how much you have to gain.
