🎉 One Year of Nourishing Hope! 🎉

​Today, we are bursting with joy and gratitude as Ireen's Food For Thought celebrates its very first anniversary,
What started as a mission to ensure no child learns on an empty stomach has become a beautiful journey of community and love.
​And what better way to celebrate this milestone than by doing what we do best?
Today, we had the absolute honour of serving nutritious meals to over 1,200 bright and wonderful pupils at Henry Kapata Primary School here in Kasama!
​Seeing those happy faces and full tummies is the greatest gift we could ask for. This past year has been a testament to what we can achieve when we come together. A massive thank you to our volunteers, to our main donor who has been with us from the word go Mr John Mcneill , and the entire community for believing in this vision.
​Here's to another year of feeding bodies, fueling minds, and fighting for a brighter future for our children. 🙏❤️

What is wrong with our society today? We are supposed to look after and look out for our children be it girl or boy child. If the elderly ones who are supposed to protect the children are defiling them, then who will protect them? Where are we as a society? Have we lost our moral compass? Something needs to change and very fast 🤔
