I love the power of Relax Kids, my 7 year old daughter wrote her own affirmations last night to help challenge some negative thoughts that were creeping in before bed time 💜 She then spent the whole night in her own bed 💜

Using positive affirmations with our children on a daily basis can challenge negative thought patterns and develop a positive outlook, even when we're experiencing challenging times 💜

Happiness isn’t just a fleeting emotion; it’s a state of being that grows with practice. When you say "I am happy," you are training your mind to focus on the good, embrace the present, and create an inner atmosphere of peace and fulfilment.

Keep affirming it, believing it, and acting in ways that align with happiness. Over time, you’ll notice a shift in your thinking and how you are feeling. 😊✨

I'm proud that this Children's Mental Health week I am able to support so many children in managing their own wellbeing.
The theme of 'Know Yourself, Grow Yourself' is a topic close to my heart.
Through self exploration and discovery we open ourselves up to be limitless 💜

Children’s Mental Health Week is a time to shine a light on the importance of emotional well-being in young minds.

By understanding their emotions, children can better navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop healthy relationships. Growth isn’t just about academic success - it’s about learning from experiences, practicing kindness (to themselves and others), and being open to change.

Optimism plays a key role in this journey. Encouraging children to focus on their potential and see setbacks as opportunities fosters resilience. A mindful approach - being present, acknowledging feelings, and responding with care - helps them manage stress and cultivate inner strength.

I'm so excited to start this Foundation Course in Drawing and Talking this week.
As a child my dream was to be a Play or Art therapist, it's taken a few twists and turns but through Relax Kids, in which I base my classes on the therapeutic and relaxing effects of Play and Art, and now furthering the support I'm able to offer to children through Art, I'm on my way 💜
