We have discovered a number of these "Bookstart" packs for little ones, and we feel its a shame to throw them away, its a lovely little book for babies & young toddlers. 👶

Please feel free to pop by and collect a pack, or grab one if you are in the surgery for an appointment and could make use of them within your family & friends. They will be in the entrance to the practice.

We are receiving a high number of enquiries about weight loss injections, particularly tirzepatide (Mounjaro®).
Please note that strict eligibility criteria apply, and only those with the highest clinical need will be able to access this treatment through the NHS at this stage.
🔹 Currently, tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) is ONLY available to patients who:
➡️ Have a BMI of 40 or more, AND
➡️ Have been diagnosed with 4 or more of the following weight-related health conditions:
🔴 High cholesterol (dyslipidaemia)
🔴 High blood pressure (hypertension)
🔴 Obstructive sleep apnoea
🔴 Cardiovascular disease
🔴 Type 2 Diabetes
⚠️ This is part of a phased NHS rollout, and GPs cannot currently prescribe tirzepatide outside these strict criteria.
We understand that many people are looking for support with weight management. If you’re not eligible at this time, we can still discuss other options that may be appropriate for you.

Good Morning All,

We are experiencing a staff shortage in the dispensary today, please only come to collect your medication if you have received a text message to say they are available.

If you have run out of medication and need a supply urgently please either contact 111 or visit a pharmacy for an emergency supply.

Afternoon All,

Just a reminder, we are not receiving all of the online medication requests, this has been an ongoing issue and we are attempting to resolve this, we appreciate this may cause some issues however we are encouraging patients to order via the POD on their contact number 033 33 583 50/ email, or drop your repeat slip in at the surgery either in the postbox at the front gate, or the postbox in the surgery at the reception desk.

We will inform all patients once we are sure the app is working correctly again.
