We are thrilled to spotlight West Hill Pre‑School, who have transformed a corner of their setting into a mini dental surgery using just a couple of the items from our Early Years Oral Health Toolkit and it’s absolutely fantastic!

Their imaginative setup brings oral health education to life for young children. It is a brilliant example of how the toolkit supports the EYFS framework while making learning fun and hands on.

The Early Years Oral Health Toolkit is available to settings participating in our Brilliant Brushers supervised toothbrushing programme across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Staffordshire, and Stoke-on-Trent - (coming soon).

The team are back up and running after the winter break with another school signing up to take part in Brilliant Brushers, our supervised toothbrushing programme.
Last week Caroline delivered staff training to the team at Severndale Specialist Academy in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. 🪥🦷

Brilliant Brushers supervised toothbrushing programme is an evidence-based programme offered to eligible day nurseries and schools across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, and Telford & Wrekin.

Did you get a new toothbrush for Christmas? 🪥😁

Remember to spit your toothpaste out, don’t rinse with water or mouthwash as it washes away the fluoride that helps to strengthen your teeth!
Try not to eat, drink or use mouthwash for at least 30 minutes after brushing to allow your toothpaste to absorb fully and provide the best protection for healthy, shiny teeth.
