Foot care is self care 🤍

We exfoliate, mask, moisturise… but somehow our feet are always last on the list.
They carry us through every day, don’t forget to give them the love they deserve.

Tip: A quick soak + moisturiser before bed goes a long way!

❤️Just a quick thank you! Thanks for your support and understanding .

It's been a few very busy weeks with early starts and late finishes. I find it hard to say no, so I find myself helping new clients by booking them in which makes my days longer and ultimately makes me unable to answer emails or return phone calls and often have to wait a couple of days for a reply 😟

The next few months I will try harder on getting my diary more to a normal working time, to be able to fit emergencies in (which I get almost daily requests) , be able to reschedule regular clients sooner who have had health problems and to be able to have a little bit more 'me time' of course.

I wouldn't like anyone thinking I am ignoring them or not bothered about phoning back . I often just find it hard to find time as I am working on my own and after a long working day, there is still paperwork, cleaning instruments for the next day, filing patient records, cleaning the clinic and refilling the work bag or ordering stock 🫠

So, thank you so much for understanding 😘

Why Foot Care Is Important in Cold Weather ❄️

Cold air dries skin, causing cracks & calluses

Poor circulation can make feet cold, numb, or painful

Dry, cracked skin increases risk of infections

Closed shoes + sweat can lead to fungal infections

Reduced sensation (especially in diabetes) raises injury risk

Proper care helps prevent corns, ulcers, and heel fissures

Warm, healthy feet improve comfort & mobility

Cold months = extra foot care, not less. 💙

💡 Calluses & Corns: What You Should Know

🛑Callus

Usually painless
Common on soles and heels

🛑Corn

Strong steps start from the ground up 👣

⭐Supports your whole body: Your feet are the foundation for standing, walking, and posture—issues in the feet can ripple up to knees, hips, and back.
⭐Enables mobility and independence: Healthy feet keep you moving comfortably and confidently in daily life.
⭐Prevents pain and injury: Good foot care reduces risk of common problems like plantar fasciitis, bunions, and stress fractures.
⭐Improves balance and stability: Strong, pain-free feet help prevent falls, especially as we age.
⭐Enhances athletic performance: Proper foot health boosts efficiency, strength, and endurance in physical activity.
⭐Affects circulation and nerve health: Feet often show early signs of circulatory or nerve issues, especially in diabetes.
⭐Supports overall quality of life: Comfortable feet mean better sleep, mood, and willingness to stay active.

How are you doing so far? Are you looking after your health, mobility, strength, mindfulness and foothealth ? 😊

Foothealth is not a luxury , it's a necessary! It keeps you mobile, active and connected. ⭐

Especially in the colder month, soak your feet in warm epsom salt water, use a foot file to gently exfoliate, dry well and apply a foot cream. ❄️

The warm water and massaging in the cream will make you feel good and relaxed 👣🩵

We almost completed 1 out of 12 months ... It's never too late to start 😉
