The biggest public conversation about the future of the NHS since its birth has been launched. It calls upon the entire country to share their experiences of our health service and give their views on its future and the 10-Year-Plan for Health.

These resources enable you to encourage all patients, their families as well as NHS staff, care workers and public health workers to take part and help shape the government Mission to fix our NHS.

At Pearl Care Professionals Ltd we aim to provide high-quality, practical and assisted personalised home care services tailored to the ever-changing needs of adults and children. We especially welcome those needing palliative care and those approaching the end of their life. We also aim to provide a range of services to support individuals in their own homes.

Palliative care is the active holistic care of individuals of all ages with serious health-related suffering due to severe illness, especially those who are facing life-threatening health conditions. It aims to improve the quality of life of clients, their families, and their caregivers.

The term “End of Life” usually refers to the last year of life, although for some clients this will be significantly shorter. Palliative care is often used interchangeably with end-of-life care. However, palliative care largely correlates to symptom management, rather than the actual end-of-life care.

We work closely with all our clients, their families, GPs and other healthcare professionals in all settings to ease or help with the symptoms. This should allow you or your loved ones to live as well as possible, and make the most of the time left. Through our experience many people prefer to remain in the comfort, security and familiarity of their own homes and surrounded by those who love them.

Our services are led by an experienced team of Senior Nurses who manage each case and are committed to meeting the highest standards of safety, ethics, and governance. Our Senior Nurses are skilled and experienced in Palliative care and are responsible for the practical details of running our team of Qualified Care Staff. In addition, the Senior Nurses will be helping the care team develop and maintain the highest standards of practice. Our staff will aim to develop a trusting, respectful and helpful relationship with all our clients and their families with particular emphasis on full involvement in all aspects of care and plans for the future. We will work to ensure that the care plan is person-centred and tailored to your health needs.

We provide services that may involve routine household tasks necessary to maintain the individual's level of health, dignity, hygiene, and safety. We offer a visit care package for those who want to remain independent in their own home but need regular visits throughout the day and week. For longer term tailored care and support, our home care service support sessions can be between 8-24 hours and we can cover 7 days a week. We also provide respite care at home, especially for any unforeseen circumstances that can arise which may mean that an individual needs extra support.

Our live-in service may be a perfect solution for those individuals requiring round-the-clock care or simply want someone to keep them company.

Regardless of where care is provided, the most helpful interventions are those which ease pain and discomfort and provide the chance for our clients and their families to experience meaningful connections. We, at Pearl Care Professionals Ltd, promote and advocate this approach.
