Two walkers on the long distance route fell severely ill after drinking from a burn despite using filters.

That's another mighty fine week at Arthog Wales working with a Year 6 Group who got stuck into the following activities - raft building, canoeing, mine exploration, gorge walking, climbing & scrambling and of course lots of splashing in the sea.

Sometimes when you run a training course the stars align and everyone has an exceptional time. For me this happened last week on a First Aid at Work course so I thought I would share the feedback I received.

That's a wrap for another FAW Requalification course for CIWW.

Really pleased with this feedback! Increased confidence to stop and deal with an incident is much more satisfying to me than other forms of positive feedback.

As part of our CSR CHMAS Training supports Shropshire Scouts with their First Response Training. Today, we were delivering the course to 11 very enthusiastic leaders who just took everything in their stride.

That's a wrap for another CHMAS Training Outdoor First Aid course. It was a real pleasure to work with 6 highly motivated candidates who asked lots of thought provoking questions.

Our next open first aid course is being run at Arthog Outreach on the 11 &12 June if you need one.
