How will AI transform healthcare in endoscopy?
As part of Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, join us tomorrow evening for a free About Health online event exploring how artificial intelligence is already changing endoscopy services at SaTH — and what this could mean for earlier diagnosis and better patient outcomes.
The session will be led by Mr Jeff Butterworth, Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist, who will explain in plain English how AI is being used in endoscopy, why this matters for bowel cancer detection, and what the future of this technology could look like.

❤️ Cardiovascular Disease Prevention – Free Online Session

February is Heart Month in the UK — a national campaign encouraging people to take action to reduce their risk of heart and circulatory diseases. Nearly 1 in 2 UK adults have high cholesterol, a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease. [heartuk.org.uk]

Cardiovascular disease remains one of the UK’s biggest health challenges, with over 8 million people currently living with CVD and around 170,000 deaths each year (26% of all UK deaths). [bhf.org.uk]

Join us on 26 February to learn practical ways to lower your risk and take control of key risk factors.

🏥🏗️Our hospital construction partners IntegratedHealth Projects (IHP) and Dalkia have taken on a winter challenge.

On Thursday 27 November 2025, the awesome teams at IHP and Dalkia completed a 9-mile winter hike up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), all the way to its 3,200ft peak.

And they are not just chasing views… they have raised £3000 for The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Charity 💙

Iwan Lewis, Operations Manager at IHP/VINCI Building said “The hike was intentionally scheduled during winter to experience challenging conditions, testing resilience and adaptability in a harsher environment, while raising funds and awareness for the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Charity, a cause close to the hearts of IHP and Dalkia teams."

Thank you to IHP, Dalkia and all the people who donated in support. The money donated will go towards building a ‘SkyGarden’ and sensory room for Paediatric patients.
