Once the baby arrives, the focus often shifts entirely onto them. But your recovery, your birth experience, and the way your body feels afterwards all matter too.

Here are all the different ways I can support new mums, both in group and 1:1 settings.

Not everyone reaches the end of pregnancy feeling calm and ready.

Some women feel completely done… Counting the days, uncomfortable, just wanting to meet their baby now. Some feel anxious… About the birth, or the magnitude of what’s about to change. Some are navigating pressure… Appointments, timelines, decisions that suddenly feel urgent. And some are carrying the weight of a previous experience that didn’t feel ok.

Wherever you are right now, it makes sense. But here’s the part that often gets missed… You don’t have to carry all of that into your birth.

Seven years. Hundreds of women. More than I can count who walked into class convinced they were "doing pregnancy wrong."

Here's what that time has actually taught me, and it's not really about yoga.

It's about what happens when you give a pregnant woman an hour of stillness, a room full of people who get it, and permission to be themselves.

Things shift. Fear gets smaller. Confidence grows. And somewhere between the breathing and the hip circles, women remember that their body actually knows what it's doing.

I started teaching because I loved yoga. I kept teaching because of the transformations I saw.

Often, as mums, we're led to believe that pain in pregnancy and postpartum is just 'par for the course'. Health professionals tell us it's to be expected, and we find ways to cope and struggle through it.

Pregnancy yoga isn’t just about stretching and relaxing. When it’s done well, it’s about preparing your body for birth in a way that actually makes sense.

Inside my classes, everything we do has a purpose. We focus on:

• Building strength to support your changing body
• Creating space in the pelvis through position and movement
• Breathing techniques that you can use during pregnancy and birth
• Helping your body find positions that feel instinctive when the time comes

This isn’t about pushing or performing, it’s about understanding your body and working with it. Because when you’ve practised these movements and positions over time, they stop being something you have to think about. They become familiar, automatic, something your body can come back to when you need it most.

And alongside that, there’s still space to slow down, rest, and properly switch off (which, let’s be honest, most mums-to-be aren’t getting enough of).

You don’t need any yoga experience
You don’t need to be flexible
You just need a body that’s growing a baby

Sometimes, a birth story doesn’t end when the baby arrives.

For many women, parts of their experience stay vivid. Moments that still feel confusing, overwhelming or unfinished. You might find yourself replaying certain details, or feeling a rush of emotion when someone asks about your birth.

That’s why I’ve created my Birth Debrief Sessions - a safe, gentle space to explore your birth story with compassion and understanding.

Together, we talk through what happened, help you make sense of it, and find the peace or closure you might not have had at the time. You don’t have to minimise what you went through. And you don’t have to carry it alone.
