🍽️ Mums, want to boost your energy, feel amazing, and crush your workouts?

It all starts with how you fuel your body! What you eat directly affects how you perform, so let’s make sure you’re fueling for success.

Here’s how to nourish your body the right way:

1️⃣ Eat whole foods: Focus on getting the most nutrients from lean proteins (like chicken, fish, and plant-based sources), plenty of colourful veggies, and healthy fats like avocado and nuts. These foods will help you build muscle, stay energized, and feel your best!

2️⃣ Stay hydrated: Water is your best friend when it comes to energy and recovery. Aim for at least 2-3 liters a day, especially around your workouts.

3️⃣ Don’t skip meals: Skipping meals can leave you feeling sluggish and impact your workout performance. Make sure you’re eating regular, balanced meals to fuel your workouts and keep your metabolism firing.

By focusing on good nutrition, you’ll not only perform better in your workouts but also feel better in your everyday life. Food is fuel, treat your body like the machine it is! 🚀

It’s hot out there right now… so training needs a slightly smarter approach ☀️

A few simple tips from us at CrossFit Shropshire:

* Drink more water than you think you need (start before you train, not during)
* Don’t chase max effort every session, reduce intensity if needed
* Take longer rests between sets
* Train earlier or later in the day if you can
* Listen to your body, dizziness, headaches, or fatigue = slow down

Heat doesn’t mean stop training.

It just means train a bit smarter.

Consistency beats intensity every time anyway.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and we’ll see you in the gym 💪
