New Year New Minibus! - The latest addition to our fleet!- 'Scoti 1' is a major step forward for us as it's a Hybrid vehicle (Electrically assisted) Purchased using a combination of Volunteer and Passenger donations (and with some help from other sources) this new vehicle should help reduce our carbon footprint through reduced emissions, improved fuel economy and reduced maintenance. 😀

A Very Happy New Year to all our passengers and volunteers and Huge Thanks to Steve who has joined us to help out with our increasingly busy schedules - After completing his taster days, induction, MiDAS 'Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme' training (which he passed with flying colours!) and a few days with one of our regular volunteers he's now out and about helping more of our Shrewsbury passengers keep their independence. WELL DONE STEVE - thankyou for stepping forward to help the local community and Welcome to the Dial a Ride family! - what a star! 😀🥇🚐🎉🌟👏

Not the best of weather for our latest recruit 'David' (on the left) to be starting his Dial a Ride volunteering, A quick walk around and under bonnet check with Mike assisting then he's off on his travels collecting Shrewsbury passengers braving the elements to keep their independence. We need your help to keep our service running smoothly! - If you have a few hours to spare each week (or every other week even) enjoy driving and want to help those less fortunate keep their independence then please give us a call on 01743 450 270 - Join our friendly team and help the local community - we use modern, smart, well maintained vehicles and you can drive most of them on a standard car licence, we'll give you training and support until you're ready to 'go solo' - Hope to see you soon! 😀

In September we celebrated our 30th anniversary with a superb evening cruise along the river Severn to thank all our amazing volunteers (and their partners) for all their support and hard work throughout the years, gorgeous views accompanied by much laughter and reminiscing made for a wonderful evening - brilliant! 🎊🎉🛳🏆🎖🍾🥂😀

A busy August for our hard working Shrewsbury volunteers who came out in force to provide our annual Shrewsbury Flower Show shuttle service between Frankwell and the show at the Quarry. Lots of returning passengers and many new friends made over a busy weekend. Well done everyone! 🌷💐🌻🪴🌤😀

Slightly off the usual route....'SCoTI 8' waits in the shade outside Clive medical practice while one of our regular passengers collects an emergency prescription - always happy to make our passengers lives easier whenever we can! 😀

Mike our resident volunteer MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) trainer preps the 'test' vehicle prior to taking another group of willing volunteers through their induction and refresher training - Great Work Mike!
