The Devil’s Ring and Finger… but that’s not its true name.

Long before fear was placed on it, these stones stood here in the Neolithic period, possibly carried into new meaning through the Bronze Age — part of a landscape shaped by ritual, burial, and transition.

No one knows exactly what it was used for.
But it wasn’t random.

Later folklore tried to explain it —
the Devil’s ring, his finger, a warning, a curse, a place marked by death.

Stories of something appearing overnight… of the land holding memory.

But older patterns tell a different story.

A holed stone.
A standing stone.

A portal and a marker.

Feminine and masculine.
Void and form.

Some later interpretations saw it as sun and serpent —
life force and shadow, creation and destruction, held in the same space.

These weren’t just objects — they were part of ritual practice.
Crossing points.
Moments of change made physical.

Holed stones, in particular, were used in folk tradition as portals —
places to pass through for healing, protection, release.

Not to another world…
but into a different state of being.

The standing stone acts as witness.
A guide.
A line between what was… and what comes next.

Don’t mock the place.
Don’t rush it.

Today we gathered under the energy of the Pink Full Moon to explore protection and intention—not just as ideas, but as something we can truly embody and carry with us.

We spoke about why this matters…
That protection isn’t about fear—it’s about self-respect, boundaries, and choosing what has access to your energy.
And that intention is what gives our energy direction and purpose—without it, things feel scattered, but with it, we create something focused, clear, and powerful.

We began by grounding, settling the mind, and creating a safe, held space… calling in supportive energies and setting the tone for our work.

Together, we created our own witch bells—each one completely unique and intentionally crafted. Every element held meaning:
