🍉🍍🍎Due to the hot weather our Jamaican food taster has been put on pause, so this afternoon we got all our favourite fruit and has a fabulous afternoon tasting the flavour, making smoothies and having cocktails and mocktails. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who entered our flower competition we had a staggering 62 entries all to So beautiful.
As there was so many entries we have created a 1st,2nd and 3rd prize and to help our residents pick our winner we had the lovely ladies from Shrewsbury Flower Club to help.

what a fabulous, productive afternoon in the garden , starting with a trip to gardens center to pick some bedding plants for our frount garden seating area.

Gardening is highly therapeutic for dementia patients because it provides sensory stimulation, reduces anxiety, and fosters a sense of purpose. Engaging with nature helps alleviate stress, encourages gentle physical activity, and can even trigger long-term memories through familiar sights, smells, and textures.
