Weather Update – Storm Goretti

Due to heavy snowfall and hazardous travel conditions caused by Storm Goretti, tomorrow’s GP practice services may be operating at reduced capacity to ensure patient and staff safety .

Some appointments may be delayed, moved to telephone consultations, or need to be rearranged. Our team will do everything possible to maintain safe care.

We will contact patients directly if appointments are affected or please attend as planned however if you wish to cancel your appointment, please do so via the NHS App or by calling the practice.

For non-urgent medical issues, please consider using NHS 111 online https://111.nhs.uk/

Marysville will be closed on 25th, 26th Dec and 1st Jan. If you need medical non urgent help during this time please call 111 or use the local pharmacies or minor injuries units. For urgent issues please call 999 or go directly to A&E.

Marysville is Closed on Bank Holiday, Monday 25th August 2025

Although some pharmacies will be closed over the Bank Holiday period, some will remain open to provide expert advice, over-the-counter treatments, and emergency medication where appropriate. To find pharmacy opening times for the Bank Holiday, please visit: https://bit.ly/42otWLE.

Pharmacists are highly trained healthcare professionals who can assist with a range of minor ailments, including cold and flu symptoms, stomach upsets, sore throat and earache, as well as rashes and skin conditions.

For life-threatening emergencies, such as signs of a stroke or heart attack, always call 999 immediately. For non-emergencies, you can contact NHS 111 online or call 111 free from landlines and mobiles. This service is available 24 hours a day, including Bank Holidays, and will guide you to the most appropriate medical help and advice after answering a few questions.

Consider visiting your local Minor Injury Unit (MIU) in Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Oswestry, Welshpool or Whitchurch. These can provide rapid treatment for injuries and illnesses that don’t require emergency hospital care.
