🏁 UPDATE from Road Run Finish Line hosted by us in October, for Ludlow & Border Counties Historic Commercial Vehicle Club.

After having treatment today I had the proud honour of presenting a fabulous cheque for £5,000 to Dr Cherian & some of his team at The O’Connor Haemotology Unit, Shrewsbury, who have looked after me for nearly two years. This will be going towards equipment to help patients during their journey with the O’Connor Unit. 😊

Once again, thank you to everyone for your support & generosity. So satisfying to give something back. Wishing you all a Very Merry Xmas 😊🚛🎅🌲🥂

T J Parry & Sons Ltd had great pleasure in hosting the finishing line of a Charity Road Run organised by David Jones & team of Border Counties Historic Vehicles Club on Sunday 20th October. 🚛

Storm Ashley made it a cruel start to the day but thankfully allowed the sun to shine as the Club arrived with us. ⛈️

A fabulous convoy of 37 vehicles was welcomed followed by light refreshments, raffle & auction.

A BIG thank you to Club members, our customers, suppliers, family & friends for their extreme generosity with prizes, donations & support with proceeds from the day (and still coming in) going to The O’Connor Haematology Unit at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

A staggering £4,500 was raised!! Overwhelmed is an understatement!! Team Work Made The Dream Work! 😊🚛

Border Counties Historic Commercial Vehicle Club are hoping to arrive tomorrow at T J Parry & Sons, from Knighton, at approximately mid day ish.🫖☕️

We have some fabulous raffle/auction prizes up for grabs that have been VERY generously donated. All proceeds will be donated to The O’Connor Haematology Unit @ The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow! 🚛💨

Date for the diary 🗓️📌🚛

We are hosting a Charity Road Run organised by Border Counties Historic Commercial Vehicles Club on Sunday 20th October 2024, finishing at ours mid /late morning. (Time TBC 🕰️ )

You are welcome to join us for tea, coffee and cake, plus raffle, whilst watching the vehicles arrive. ☕️ 🍰 🧁

Proceeds from the day being donated to ‘The O’Connor Haematology Unit @ The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.’ (Donation of raffle prizes much appreciated)
