Welcome to my page ! I'm Andi & I’m the creator of Barefoot Soul Sanctuary, a community healing space in the heart of Shropshire 🙏

Barefoot Soul is a holistic therapy practice with a difference.For 34 years I was a senior nurse in the NHS and whilst I absolutely adored my role, I knew that there was something missing. Working in emergency medicine meant I spent a lot of time with people in crisis and I wanted to be in a position to help people truly transform, rather than being purely focused on fixing the physical ailment. I'm passionate about empowering people to take responsibility for their health & wellness and assisting and supporting them on a journey to their most delicious life, the one that they might be putting on hold until .......(retirement/the kids starting school, leaving home/getting a new job or whatever it may be). I don't want you putting yourself at the bottom of a huge pile of tasks & responsibilities. I don't want you to be stuck in your old trauma and holding on to old stories and limiting beliefs that are simply not true. I don't want you simply waiting. Life is too short to wait......

Sometimes a good spring clean is the best medicine! 🌷🧹🧼🧽🧺

We accumulate so much “stuff “ over the years we kind of get used to it being there . Even though it annoys us & irritates us we keep walking past it and get distracted with other stuff.

Sometimes it’s hard to let it go

Finally you get to the point where enough is enough & throw it all out ! Deep cleaning every little nook & cranny - you might wish you never started but feel great when it’s done!

It maybe just one tiny room, but it’s a start - one area at a time, de clutter & deep cleanse, with presence & compassion.

It’s a bit like healing really isn’t it? 🤔

No need to empty the whole house at once! Let’s just start with one teeny cupboard. 🙏

Completing our 9 month Reiki Practitioner Course is no mean feat ! 📚🌟💫

Attending 6 modules over 6 weekends, completing case studies & an extensive portfolio is a big ask, but the results speak for themselves.

I feel so proud and truly honoured that each of these women have the knowledge, skills and experience to share Reiki with the world, from a rooted & safe place. I have witnessed them navigate this journey with authenticity & honesty. 🌻

This is a journey of self awareness & personal development first & foremost, the qualification is simply recognition of all their hard work 🙏💜🙏

Libra Full Moon energy 🌖🌕🌒🌙⚖️

Libra full moon is all about finding balance & harmony, a concept which has been coming up for me a lot recently .

As a retired A&E nurse I am well versed in reacting quickly. It could mean a matter of life or death. My nervous system on high alert constantly.

“Don’t just stand there, Do something! “

When I worked in community, visiting a palliative care patient a very wise Gp said to me “

“Don’t just do something, stand there!”

That was one of the most valuable pieces of advice I was ever given, take a moment, find your centre, breathe and consider your options and the best option for your patient.

This applies to life too, not every situation requires an immediate response, or even a response at all! Observe how your body responds, just pause & breathe.

Finding balance time and time again by returning back to our centre is a skill I have been using for many many years, within a different context maybe the the principle remains the same. ⚖️🙏

Choose You 💜

I’ve just spent the most magical birthday weekend drumming with an amazing group of people (includes Neil obvs!)

I have no pics as I didn’t take any! Not one single photo ! That’s how good it was, seriously 🥰 It will be a birthday that I remember for a very long time 🥰

I am so grateful to continue to learn from some amazing Shamanic teachers- I’m still processing and integrating the teachings but will share more soon.

If you haven’t heard of Pete Bengry btw go check him out his work is next level👌

I am fully back to work as from today so will respond to emails later & can’t wait to see my clients this week!
