🚧 Roadworks 🚧

Tue 14 April - Fri 5 June 2026
I have been made aware that roadworks will be taking place on the B4380 and the B5061 (the road between Emstrey Island and Wellington Turn) on selected dates between Tue 14 April and Fri 5 June 2026, specifically for stud removal on 21st April.

When the road is closed, you should still be able to access via Emstrey Island.
Please follow the diversions in place and allow a little extra time for your journey.

Fab course completed this week updating knowledge and technique using medical acupuncture. I find it so successful at helping to get tissue change, healing and pain relief from sports injuries to spinal pain and arthritis. This then helps set the body up for strengthening and conditioning for rehab. Pictured here are needles to help anterior knee pain/ patella tendon injury, shoulder joint pain especially for rotator cuff dysfunction, wrist problems such as dequervains and lateral epicondylitis.

A couple of years ago I made an infographic and my numbers surprised me (when I sat down and worked it out)! This one is an updated version.

Just wanted to share a little someone’s work in progress. We are trying some skates for this little guy to help him get moving. It’s just a short term attempt as ideally we want to get more weight bearing through his front legs. He has been in splints already for weeks now.

He has some great wheels on loan from Winston's Wheels too. I’m assisting on the physio and laser front and my colleague Rachel from wellwatershydrotherapycentre is providing the hydrotherapy to get him walking again.

Following a diagnosis of polyradiculoneuritis for a second time! He is taking a little longer to rehab but is regaining function as most dogs do. 😊

Acupuncture is great for pain, muscle cramps, stimulating blood flow, reducing swelling and speeding up healing. I’ve been using acupuncture for the last 14 years and still think it’s amazing!
