One simple blood test could revolutionise dementia diagnosis in the UK.

A groundbreaking trial is now recruiting participants via NHS memory clinics across the country to understand whether early access to tests measuring a protein in blood can help diagnose Alzheimer’s earlier and faster and improve a person’s experience after a diagnosis.

The trial, which is part of the Blood Biomarker Challenge, could be a game-changer – helping more families get answers, plan ahead and access emerging treatments.

Kitchen Manager/Cook - Residential Home
We have a position for a cook in our small residential home.

*26-30 hours a week. 9-3 shifts over 5-6 days a week. Flexibility of hours dependent on the right candidate.

*Alternate weekends.

Successful applicants must be able to cater to our 14 residents with traditional home cooking. Applicants will need to work to a high standard to maintain our 5 star hygiene rating. Will be in charge of ordering and maintaining stock levels.
