We understand getting appointments can be tricky these days, but people not attending their appointments only make this even more difficult.

Please remember to cancel your appointment if it is no longer needed, as it could really help someone else!

With the NHS under pressure and complaints about not being able to access their GP even more so at this time of year, it’s sad to see the significant numbers of appointments lost because patients don’t cancel ..

Norovirus is a stomach bug that causes diarrhoea and vomiting. It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about 2 days.

You can usually treat yourself at home, but the most important thing is to rest and have lots of fluids.

It is so important for boys and girls to get their HPV vaccinations.

Many people are not aware that the HPV virus can cause many types of cancer, including: pe**le, a**l, cervical, throat and vaginal cancer.

Don’t leave it to the girls to get vaccinated and screened- boys get your HPV vaccination done!

This week is Cervical Cancer Prevention Week.

Cervical screening saves thousands of lives each year in the UK.

The NHS offers cervical screening to check the health of your cervix and help prevent cervical cancer. We look for high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV). This is because it can cause abnormal changes that may lead to cervical cancer.

Finding and treating any changes early can prevent most cases of cervical cancer. Cervical cancer mostly affects women and people who have a cervix under the age of 45, but abnormal changes can happen at any age.

Regular cervical screening is important and women aged 25 to 64 are invited every 5 years.
