I am a fully qualified, registered homeopath and have been working in and around the Shrivenham area since 2005. I am also a lecturer and tutor and Salisbury Homeopathy College. I have had an interest in natural health and healing all my adult life, but the magic of homeopathy is my passion. I currently run a clinic in Shrivenham at my house, as well as seeing people at Highworth Holistic Health and using Skype for patients further afield. I am passionate about the natural medicine of homeopathy, having experienced it first hand and having watched so many patients benefit from better overall health and quick recovery from illness. My first experience was in 2000 when I had yet another bout of tonsillitis. Usually this meant several days worth of pain and exhaustion and a course of antibiotics. So fed up was I that I decided to try something different (isn't it funny how ill we'll allow ourselves to be before we can justify a change of treatment!). I went to see a homeopath who looked at my somewhat disgusting, ulcer covered throat. She gave me 3 little white pills to take over the next 12 hours. The following morning I awoke.... completely better! Yes, TOTALLY better - no sore throat, no tiredness, just full health. It was mindblowing. The rest, as they say, is history. I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life at this point! I left my job and studied full time at the University of Westminster, graduating in 2005. I have since attended many study days and a postgraduate paediatric diploma in homeopathy and a postgraduate course in advanced homeopathy. I am registered and insured with the Society of Homeopaths (the largest registering body in the UK). I am also training to be a Martha Beck Life Coach, or ‘Wayfinder’, to help my patients homeopathy students and new graduates take positive steps to help them to find their true path and happiness alongside better health.
I have children, chickens and a special interest in shamanism. I try to get out running a few times a week (not fast, you could walk backwards next to me and be faster!) mostly to get out into the beautiful sights, feel and smell of the countryside.
