On Friday our residents at Frognal House were dancing, singing, and smiling through a fabulous ABBA-themed show! 💃🕺

From glittering costumes to toe-tapping hits like Dancing Queen and Take a Chance on Me.

Everyone joined in the fun, clapping, singing along, and even showing off a few moves worthy of the Eurovision stage!

A huge thank you to our performers and staff who made the day so special. It was a joyful celebration of music and memories 💛

Yesterday, our residents followed the yellow brick road to a magical Wizard of Oz themed day! From ruby slippers to scarecrow smiles, the home was filled with colour, laughter, and creativity. 💚🩷

It was a truly heartwarming day that brought joy, nostalgia, and a touch of Oz magic to everyone involved. Huge thanks to our amazing team for making it all happen 💛

🐾✨ A Paws-itively Perfect Day at Frognal House! ✨🐾

Today our home was filled with wagging tails, twitching noses, and a whole lot of joy as we welcomed a delightful bunch of furry friends for a very special visit 🐶🐱🐰🐹🐔🦎

Residents were thrilled to cuddle with adorable cats, playful pups, fluffy bunnies, curious guinea pigs, and even some feathered and reptilian guests. 💕✨

Thank you to our wonderful visitors for making this day so magical. We can't wait to welcome you back soon! 🐾🌈

💛🌼 It’s the little things… 🌼 💛

Not grand gestures or big wins, Like these beautiful flowers, sent from a friend and now blooming in our garden a gentle reminder that kindness grows.💛

✨ The smell of toast in the morning.
✨A stranger’s dog wagging its tail at you like you’re old friends.
✨ The way the sky blushes pink before sunset.
✨ A perfectly timed song on the radio that feels like it was chosen just for you.
✨ Fresh sheets. Warm socks. A good laugh.
✨ That first sip of coffee when the world’s still waking up.
✨ And yes, a photo of your favourite apple tree from a friend, quietly blooming, quietly saying you’re thought of.

Life doesn’t always shout its joy, it whispers it.

This week, Frognal House was bursting with colour, rhythm, and joy as we celebrated Jamaican Day in true island style! 🌴✨

Residents got creative with vibrant crafts, danced to the infectious beat of live steel drum music, and enjoyed a feast of traditional Jamaican dishes. 🍗🥁🎨

Huge thanks to our amazing team and wonderful residents for making it a day to remember!

🌞 What a fantastic weekend at Frognal House Care Home! 🌞

Our summer fete was nothing short of magical, bursting with joy, laughter, and community spirit.

We were thrilled to host this wonderful day in proud partnership with Age UK, who helped make the event so meaningful for residents, families, and guests alike.

A very special highlight: we had the honour of welcoming the Mayor of Bexley, whose visit brought smiles and pride throughout our home! 🎉💐

From music and games to delicious treats, it was a day to remember. Huge thanks to everyone who made it so special.

🎹🌸 This morning hit all the right notes!
Olive treated us to some charming piano moments alongside our wonderful jazz pianist—together, they brought a little swing to the air and smiles to the faces around them. Meanwhile, in the lounge, a symphony of colour bloomed as our residents took part in some beautiful flower arranging. Petals, laughter, and piano keys—it’s the kind of harmony we love to share. 🌷

Today was a day for team spirit, laughter, and a little friendly competition as our brilliant staff took on the challenge of an assault course—and absolutely smashed it! 💪
To celebrate their efforts, everyone was awarded a medal and certificate—well earned and well deserved! And what better way to cool down than with a refreshing ice lolly in the sunshine? 🍦☀️
