The Tale of Two Wolves

A Cherokee is telling his grandson about a fight that is
going on inside of ourselves
One is evil: Anger, envy, sorrow, regret, fearful thinking,
greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority,
lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is good: Joy, peace, love, hope, serenity,
humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then
asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”
The Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed”

Simply put when we solely focus on negativity we unconsciously feed into it creating unhappiness, leading to poor mental well being. When we notice the everyday joys that we unconsciously take for granted we begin to feed positivity leading to good mental
wellbeing.

Take a moment to stop, breathe in and say to your self I’m aware I’m breathing in, breathe out and say I’m aware I’m breathing out - in/ out repeat this two or three times. You don’t need to do anything else other than focus on breathing for a couple of breaths

My hope is that you bring this into your everyday life, focussing on yourself 🥰

Today I am grateful for the beautiful early morning walk. The cold on my cheeks was actually refreshing. On reflection I’m grateful that I had my dad in my life into my late fifties and whenever I look at his photos he’s smiling which warms my heart.
I’m also grateful that I got to eat chocolate for my breakfast - it was yummy. I’m not critical or judgmental of my unhealthy choice of breakfast. Tomorrow is new day.

I hope you can all find one thing to be grateful for today 🥰
