We headed out for one of our favourite things to do at Baugh House Care Centre , a day trip into the local community, and this time our Activities Team and some of our wonderful residents went to Ruxley Manor Garden Centre and the London Butterfly Gardens 🌿

We love getting out and about with our residents, and this trip was full of those simple moments that make it so worthwhile. There was plenty to explore, from beautiful plants to little finds in the gift shop, followed by a relaxed stop in the tea rooms for a cup of tea and a slice of cake together 🍵 🍰

The Butterfly Garden felt like a little tropical escape, with colourful butterflies gently fluttering all around us. It was lovely to see everyone taking it all in, sharing smiles and enjoying something a bit different together 🦋

Trips like these are such a special part of life here, helping us stay connected to the world around us. Where should we head to next?

It’s been such a lovely week here at Baugh House Care Centre 🌿😊

We’ve made the most of the sunshine, spending time out in the garden and really enjoying being surrounded by nature in full bloom. There were plenty of peaceful moments, a few chats in the sun, and lots of smiles as everyone took it all in

We were also treated to a visit from our regular singer Mindi, which always brings such a wonderful atmosphere to the home 🎶 Alongside that, we’ve had some fun bingo sessions and a few special animal visits that really brightened everyone’s day

It’s been one of those weeks filled with simple joys, good company and lots of little moments that make a big difference 💜

March has been a truly special month across our homes, filled with meaningful celebrations and shared experiences that have brought residents and teams together ✨

From raising awareness during Nutrition and Hydration Week to enjoying the energy and fun of St Patrick’s Day, there has been something for everyone to take part in. We also proudly celebrated International Women’s Day, recognising the inspiring women within our communities, and marked Mother’s Day with thoughtful moments of love, gratitude, and reflection 🌷 🚺 🍎 🍀

Life across our 46 homes is shaped by these moments, both big and small. They create a sense of belonging, spark conversation, and bring joy to everyday life, making each home a vibrant and supportive place to live 🏡💜

Behind every celebration is the dedication and care of our incredible teams, whose passion continues to create engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents 👏💜

We have enjoyed a truly lovely Easter here at Baugh House Care Centre , where our wonderful residents, families, and friends came together to celebrate a weekend filled with warmth, connection, and joyful moments. Across the bank holiday weekend, our home was filled with laughter, conversation, and the comforting presence of loved ones 🐰

A highlight of the celebrations was our special Easter tea party, where everyone gathered to enjoy traditional hot cross buns while sharing stories and reminiscing together. It was a beautiful opportunity to pause, connect, and create meaningful memories with those closest to us ☕

Throughout the weekend, residents also took part in a variety of arts and crafts sessions, including calming colour therapy and creative egg painting. These activities brought a wonderful sense of relaxation and expression, with each piece reflecting the individuality and creativity of those who made them 🎨

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Easter raffle. Your kindness and generosity helped make the celebrations even more special and brought smiles to so many faces across our home 💟

We had a wonderful Wild West Wednesday at Baugh House Care Centre this week 🤠👢 With country music, a bit of line dancing, western films and plenty of dressing up, it’s safe to say everyone had a great time... and no, we definitely weren’t horsing around! 🐴😄

We have been making the most of the beautiful weather this week, spending quality time together out in the garden and soaking up the warmth of the sunshine. There is something truly special about these moments outdoors, where fresh air, gentle breezes, and golden rays create a calm and uplifting atmosphere for everyone to enjoy ☀️

As spring begins to unfold around us, it has been lovely to watch nature waking up, with flowers starting to bloom and greenery returning to life. Our lovely residents have enjoyed sitting together, chatting, relaxing, and simply taking in the peaceful surroundings, making the most of this wonderful change in season 🌷🌳

On Tuesday, our home came alive as we celebrated St Patrick’s Day in true style, bringing everyone together for a day filled with laughter, warmth, and a wonderful sense of community. From the moment the celebrations began, our lovely residents and team members embraced the spirit of the occasion, creating an atmosphere that was as joyful as it was memorable 🍀

Inspired by the rich traditions of Irish culture, every corner of the home reflected a jolly and welcoming energy, with smiles, music, and shared moments that lifted everyone’s spirits.
