February brought plenty of lovely moments across our homes but here’s a little hint at what we’ve been celebrating this month: 🧧🐉 | 🥞 | 🐶🐱 | 💗

From Valentine’s celebrations and pancake making for Shrove Tuesday, to learning about Chinese New Year and enjoying visits from some very special furry friends, it’s been another month full of smiles, creativity and time spent together.

Across our 46 homes, these everyday moments are what make each community so special. They’re made possible by the kindness, energy and dedication of our incredible teams, who work so hard to create meaningful experiences for residents 💜👏

Spring is in the air!! 🌼
With beautiful daffodils in full bloom, our residents could not resist stepping outside to enjoy the fresh spring sunshine ☀️😊 Sara, Susan, and Diana, our wonderful activity coordinators, joined everyone for gentle garden walks, pointing out the vibrant flowers, sharing stories, and encouraging residents to take in the sights and smells of the season 🌿 💟

The visits to the garden were full of excitement and curiosity as residents spotted local wildlife right at our back door 🐦🦊 Birds flitting between the trees and a curious fox exploring nearby made the strolls even more special. Residents shared memories of wildlife they had seen in the past and enjoyed chatting about the changing seasons and the joy of being outdoors 🌸💫

Over the weekend, we also celebrated St. David's Day, honouring Welsh heritage with cheerful decorations, music, and stories. Our lovely residents enjoyed learning a little more about traditions, sharing memories from their own experiences, and taking part in themed activities that brought a sense of community and celebration into the home 😁 🎉

It was a week filled with laughter, conversation, and connection. From colourful daffodils to wildlife encounters and cultural celebrations, Sara, Susan, and Diana helped make every moment meaningful. Spring has truly brought warmth, happiness, and bright smiles to our home, and we are enjoying every joyful moment of the season 🌞🌼🐾

We would like to wish our wonderful resident Eric a very Happy 100th Birthday today!! 🎉🎂 He is a true gentleman and an inspiration to us all. You are treasured by your family, and it's an honour to know you. ❤️

Eric is a very special man, a war veteran who proudly served in the Royal Navy. ⚓️ This past weekend, he celebrated this incredible milestone surrounded by his loved ones, enjoying a live singer who performed in true wartime fashion, bringing back cherished memories. 🎶 The joy on his face as he listened to the familiar tunes was priceless, reminding us all of the strength and resilience that comes with age.

Today, he continued the festivities with family, spending quality time with multiple generations, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 🥰 It warms our hearts to see such strong family bonds and the love that surrounds him. We hope you have had a memorable and very special day, Eric!

We had a lovely weekend taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch and also enjoying a Scottish celebration in remembrance of Robert Burns. Residents enjoyed learning about garden birds and sampling traditional Scottish cuisine, including haggis. It was a wonderful way to celebrate nature, culture, and togetherness. 🐦🏴
