Malden House is a welcoming care home located in Sidmouth, Devon, offering personalised residential, dementia, respite, and end-of-life care in peaceful, landscaped grounds. The original house, which dates back to 1820, has been thoughtfully re-designed, incorporating many original features to provide a safe, appealing and comfortable home for its residents. Our fully-trained, compassionate and caring team has created an exceptional residential care home in Devon equipped with just 19 bedrooms and spaces inside and out to enjoy both companionship and privacy.

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the wonderful mums in our care homes💐

In this video, some of our residents and team members share what makes them proud to be a mum, reflecting on their children and the deep love and pride that motherhood brings.

While today is a celebration, we know it can also be a tender day for many. We’re thinking especially of those who are missing their mums, those who are longing to become mums, new mums at the beginning of their journey, and anyone whose heart feels a little heavier today.

From all of us here, we’re sending love this Mother’s Day to mums, grandmothers, mother figures and families everywhere🩵
