"In the short time my dad has been a resident at Springbank Care Home he has settled well into his new surroundings. He's been made to feel so welcome and comfortable into the well run Springbank Care Home family from day one. He's very happy and content, well looked after and loves to get involved with the daily activities arranged and the regular trips out.

I've found all staff to be welcoming, very helpful, compassionate, understanding, considerate, supportive, talkative, well presented, happy in what they do, attentive and above all provides exceptional care for my dad with his dementia needs."

What an incredible couple of days we've had here at Springbank Care Home! On Wednesday, we embarked on an unforgettable adventure to the Cow & Calf rocks in Ilkley, where we witnessed the thrill of abseilers conquering the rockface with courage and determination! 🏔️ Yesterday, our creative spirits soared as we delved into Autumnal Crafts, unleashing a tidal wave of imagination and talent - the results were truly breathtaking! 🎨

What a fantastic Tuesday at Springbank Care Home! We treated ourselves to a delightful spread of teas, coffee, cheese crackers, and homemade tomato chutney, crafted with love using our residents' homegrown tomatoes! 🍅🧀 The gardening club's efforts truly paid off. Card Bingo welcomed new players, and we topped off the day with a fun quiz!

Keeping Active at Springbank! 🤸‍♀️

We believe that keeping mobile, fit, and healthy is key for our residents, and yesterday was proof that exercise can be brilliant fun!

It was a joy to welcome back the familiar favourite on our schedule: Chairobics with Nichola! Everyone absolutely loved keeping their bodies moving, trying out various dance moves from the comfort of their chairs, and generally having a ball of a time.

A huge thank you to Nichola for another fantastic session!

Dogs, Trains, and Sunflowers! A Wonderful Week at Springbank 🐾🚂🌻

It's been a brilliant week here at Springbank Care Home, full of fun, creativity, and some very special visitors!

We had a fantastic start to the week on Tuesday when Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat - Keighley, came to visit! We were absolutely charmed by their lovely dogs, Lyra and Onslow, who brought smiles and wagging tails all round. What better way to follow that up than with an exciting game of Bingo in the afternoon?

Wednesday was packed with adventures! We had a great time at the Silsden Town Hall for a fabulous arty workshop run by Many Hands in the morning, letting our creative side shine. Then, in the afternoon, we enjoyed an amazing ride on the beautiful Keighley and Worth Valley Railway! We also embraced the season with a spooktacular Halloween-themed Wellbeing Wednesday activity.

On Thursday, Lisa worked her magic again in the Bloom Salon, leaving lots of happy ladies and gentlemen looking and feeling their best. And finally, a huge congratulations to V, who won our tallest sunflower competition! Her sunflower survived four whole storms and is now proudly displayed in a vase in the home.
