Olé! Something big is coming to class... Sensathon 2026 is on the way!

This May, our local Baby Sensory®️ and Toddler Sense®️ classes will be dancing, clapping, music-making and celebrating in our wonderful Hola Barcelona! themed sessions, all while raising vital funds for Tommy’s.

As Baby Sensory®️ celebrates 20 wonderful years, this year’s Sensathon feels even more special. Together with Toddler Sense®️, across the years Sensathon has already raised an incredible £1,915,152 for Tommy’s, and we are so proud to be part of it.

So get ready to have fun, raise money, make a difference and help save lives.

Spring has sprung, and so has a brand new Baby Sensory term which begins from April 20th 🐝 🍄

Our sessions are filled with gentle magic – twinkling lights, soothing sounds, colourful adventures, and precious moments designed to spark your baby’s curiosity and development.
But it’s not just about the little ones… it’s about you, too 🤍
Those early days can feel overwhelming, so our classes are a warm, welcoming space to slow down, breathe, and connect – with your baby and with other parents.
No pressure, no expectations, just shared smiles, tiny milestones, and budding friendships!

💛 As we come to the end of this month, we’ve been reflecting on what 20 years of Baby Sensory® really means.

Behind every session is over 40 years of research, development and understanding of how babies learn and grow.

Baby Sensory® was created by Dr Lin Day to support parents and babies during those most important early months — with carefully designed activities that nurture development, confidence and connection.

For us, it’s about so much more than marking a milestone.

It’s about continuing to support families every week — and being part of those early moments that matter so much.

We’re incredibly proud to deliver Baby Sensory® to families in our local community — and to be part of a programme that has supported so many babies and parents over the past 20 years.

And we’re looking forward to everything still to come. 💛

🌼 Say Hello to SPRING! ⏰ Don’t forget — the clocks go forward this weekend.

We’re looking forward to longer days, fresh air and more time outdoors — all of which can have a positive impact on your baby’s wellbeing and development.

Sunlight helps support healthy growth and provides essential Vitamin D, while time outside encourages exploration, movement and new experiences.

The 1 hour time change can sometimes affect your baby’s sleep routine, so take it one day at a time and be gentle with any adjustments.

Here are a few simple ways to support your baby’s wind-down:

💛 Touch
A warm bath followed by a gentle baby massage can help little ones relax. For older babies, soft, comfortable sleepwear and (where appropriate) a sleep sack can support a sense of security.

💛 Sight
Dim the lights and close curtains 30–60 minutes before bedtime to help signal sleep. Use soft, warm-toned lights or slow-moving projections rather than anything bright or stimulating.

💛 Sound
Gentle white noise or a calming lullaby can create a familiar, soothing environment.

💛 Routine
Keep a simple, consistent wind-down — a quiet story, a soft song, or a cuddle.

Our Story

Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year. Baby Sensory is the only Baby Development programme with classes specifically designed for babies from birth.

Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of simple activities that are fun for babies from birth to 13 months. Our baby classes include baby activities ranging from signing to fibre optic light shows, amazing light balls, bubbles and bells; there is always something different. Many of these activities are set to our own Baby Sensory music which is available on CD. What is really exciting about Baby Sensory is that it is an parent and baby group where many of the sensory materials and baby activities are unique to the programme.

Each class includes seven different activities each week and a discovery play time, during which baby can enjoy our sensory play area whilst parents have the opportunity to meet.
