Qualified Dental Nurse for Maternity Cover

Vacancy Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to join our friendly and busy private dental practice with an emphasis on preventative treatment and options for all.
The role of a dental nurse is to assist the dentist with all clinical aspects within the surgery. Along with caring for patients always.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Always greet and care for all patients in a polite and courteous manner
• Work closely with the dentist in a professional and appropriate manner
• Provide chair side assistance during all dental procedures
• Update computer records and taking notes
• Cleaning surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls
• Preparing instruments and materials during treatments
• Carry out reception and administrative tasks where required literate, and keen to learn
Requirements and prospects Desired skills
• The successful candidate must be reliable, organised, with good communication skills, computer literate, and keen to learn
• You must be always of a smart and professional appearance, wearing a clean, presentable uniform and have a positive attitude
• Be able to work well as part of a team
Personal qualities
• You will have a calm, confident and reassuring manner and the ability to relate well to people, including children and those with special needs
• You will have a positive and flexible approach to work

Qualified applicants to have relevant dental nurse qualification and registration.

Things to consider
You will be required to have a Hepatitis B injection and pass a full DBS check

Receptionist job: 4 days per week

Mint Dental Care has a job role available for a hardworking Receptionist to join our friendly team.

Duties will include:
Taking phone calls from patients showing a good telephone manner and empathy to our patients.
Greeting patients upon entry into the practice.
Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
You must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Smart in appearance.
Computer knowledge is a great advantage however training would be given.
Communication skills are extremely important
Taking payments from patients.
Filling paperwork.
Humble, Punctual, honest and sincere
Supporting role where possible to clinical team
Flexible to help cover if staff on holiday

Mint Dental Team City Break.
Kraków in Poland, a city with lots of history, culture and tradition mixed with fantastic food and beautiful weather.
Auschwitz Birkenau German Concetration Camp was an unforgettably deep emotional experience.
We all had some great team bonding time!
This was our second time in Poland and we hope to repeat a similar trip some time soon. Team Mint abroad again 😀.
