So I'm officially out of hibernation and today was the start of couch to 5k as part of my training for - eek The Great North Run.

Now I'm not a natural runner by means - I think I still have trauma from coming last in the 800m at school 🤣.

But we all have to start somewhere and I decided in 2026 I would challenge myself.

Why am I doing this? Well my much loved mum who has recently moved into a care home with Alzheimer's started running in her 60s - The Great North Run was one of her favourites.

So I'm running this for mum and hope I will make her proud.

I'm also reminding myself I've got the inner strength to push through the challenge.

I've been learning again and I'm now pleased to offer Tuning Fork Therapy.

This is a gentle sound based healing that works with the body's electromagnetic field to harmonize areas where stress, trauma or emotional patterns may be "stored" in your energetic field.

As the forks create clear, coherent tones your nervous system begins to relax and your body remembers it's natural state of balance.

So it's been a busy few weeks and a couple of updates for you.

Firstly I'm now pleased that I am now a Tropic ambassador and my facials will now use the wonderful Tropic products.

My skin has really changed with peri-menopause and the amazing organic tropic products have been a game changer for my skin. My skin feels hydrated again and in the space of a few weeks I've even seen improvement on an area where I'm waiting to see a dermatologist.

And the bonus is the products smell amazing too my bathroom smells like a spa.

From lived experience of mental health, bereavement, motherhood, perimenopause and caring for a parent I have caring a compassion to help you deal with whatever life throws at you. Add that to my counselling qualification and you really are seen and heard.
