Here are just some of the faces who make up the tapestry of 🏠✨
This house has always been an ever-evolving space and has always organically flowed depending on who uses the building - some for many years, some for a season, some for a day… either way, every face, every class taught, every moment in this building has shaped what it is today… and I’m (Bethan 👋) so grateful, and so proud of every single one of us!
Running a business isn’t easy. I think often there’s a misconception that to set up a business where you manage your own time, income, schedule, life… is a more ‘free’ option than employment… and often it is. More ability to create, endless opportunity to expand. No ceiling on how much money you there is potential to be made… but freedom is a state of mind, and being self employed also comes with a lot of unknowns that can feel overwhelming at best, and sometimes paralysing at most.
It’s a path that requires endless resilience and endless trust. And when you can achieve that, the freedom on the other side is unlike anything else. But it can be tough. And it can be isolating. And it can really push you to confront all of your own shadows: the part of you that is still in fear. The part of you that feels you don’t have enough. The part of you that worries that something will be taken from you. The part of you that clutches at control.
It’s an incredible, wonderful rollercoaster of facing all that you are and all that you can be, in the fullest way possible…
& so I just want to shout out these people here, and everyone else who works with us or who runs their own small business to say - I see you and I’m proud of you, and of us ♥️
Keep on keeping on. Keep on showing up for you and creating that thing. Keep doing it with your palms open and your heart wide, and you can’t go wrong.
