The day is coming and im so sad 😞
One thing my husband would never expect of me
is to put my body through another surgery or go on a “forever” birth control just to prevent having kids.
Because he understands something important:
I’ve already carried the weight.
I’ve been pregnant.
I’ve given birth.
I’ve healed.
I’ve sacrificed my body, my hormones, my sleep, my mental health.
And he would never look at me and say,
“Do more. Risk more. Change yourself again.”
He’s the man, and he stepped up.
Real partnership is not asking the woman who’s already done the most
to do even more.
It’s taking responsibility.
It’s protecting your wife’s body.
It’s saying, “You’ve done enough. I’ve got this now.”
That’s love.
That’s respect.
That’s what being a man looks like.
