A new skill incoming!
This is more for my NHS work but there will be scope to offer this within my business (more on this later!)
It’s something I’ve wanted to do for some time: day 1 is online and then I’m off to Darlington next week for the practical teaching days.

A lot of people often ask me about the effectiveness of massage pads etc: well now we have some published research showing that regular heat and massage can help give some improvements!
If anyone wants to chat about the Equilibrium pads give me a shout 😊

🐾💔 BUDDY 💔🐾

I can’t help but post about Buddy…
Sadly Buddy was euthanised on Friday (I’m not generally superstitious but maybe I will be in future).
Buddy and his wonderful owner Andrew have been a big part of my vet physio career: I first met them as a student working with my friend and colleague Kay and Buddy was a young lad having been diagnosed with hip dysplasia at a young age. I wrote one of my case reports for my studies on him.
When Kay retired I was given the privilege of continuing his physiotherapy care.
Both Andrew and Buddy have been strong supporters of me and my business: the annual Burley in Woofdale dog show being a prime example! It will be a much quieter affair without him 😔
Sadly his health declined recently and after a short illness a tumour was diagnosed and the decision was taken to let him go peacefully.

My condolences are with Andrew, I know just how special he was, and I have a soft spot for Airedales as my Aunt and Uncle have had them for many years.
I know he’ll be causing his Airedale chaos at the bridge!
