Hypnobirthing is a complete birth preparation course designed to empower couples to have the best birth for them. Hypnobirthing incorporates hypnotherapy, the power of language, the importance of avoiding negative influence, powerful calming techniques and understanding the full birth journey including the physiology of birth and birth choices. Hypnobirthing allows people to have births where they feel calm, relaxed, in control and ultimately love their birth however it happens.

1️⃣ My first booking from a stranger

Like most new businesses, my first clients were people who already knew me.

So when a complete stranger got in touch, said they loved what they’d seen my social media… and then paid for their course- I remember thinking, oh wow I’ve made it 🤣

2️⃣ Filling my group course

The first group course I launched had two couples booked on.
That counted as a group, right? 😉
Six weeks later, the next one had four couples- a full room.

I’d filled my group course.
That moment felt incredible… and it paved the way for everything that followed.

3️⃣ Hearing feedback from parents

Messages like:

💛 “I’m actually feeling excited for birth now”
💛 “I couldn’t have done it without Hypnobirthing”
💛 “I did it Abby! I can’t wait to tell you about the birth!”

Please hear me when I say it is ok to be a beginner Hypnobirthing teacher. Every expert out there starts as a beginner. 🦋

When I think back to my very first Hypnobirthing clients 10 years ago, they got the BEST service as I had so much more time and attention to give than when my diary was busy. I threw my all into preparing, because everything was new.

As a beginner, you are so much less likely to overdo it. You are likely to remember, more clearly your clients’ starting points and use language that they understand.

With more experience, we collect more information. We can feel the urge to add more and more to our courses. This isn’t always a good thing.

An over full course can lead to overwhelm and lack of the repetition needed for things to stick.

So, please know that there are huge benefits to your clients of choosing you as a new Hypnobirthing teacher. Get out there and shine ✨
