What to expect during a scar therapy appointment:
💌 We talk about your birth, how you feel, how your scar impacts you, any pain or discomfort.
💌 An assessment of your scar during movement, assessment of your quality of movement and any weaknesses
💌 Assessment on how your scar feels when being touched/how your scar feels to me through touch, where it’s possibly adhered to, where it’s possibly pulling, noting any numbness.
💌 start scar treatment based on the above. Including scar massage and the Lymphatouch device (if applicable- all depends on type of scar you have)
💌 Exercises to help mobilise the scar, and to help with any abdominal muscle separation if there are any. But also exercises to help pelvic floor and feel generally stronger.
💌 I’m always listening and taking in your feedback on treatment/how you’re feeling. The sessions are a relaxing time for mums.

Take an hour out for yourself, you WILL thank yourself for this in the long run!
