Physiotherapy - Injury assessment, rehabilitation, recovery and conditioning available within the centre and online. Biomechanical MOT's - Lower limb, upper limb or full body MOT's are available to book. These MOT's will assess and diagnose to ensure you are maintaining yourself at the highest standard and able to continue moving pain free. Online Coaching & Personal Training - Bookable through the website or app. Personal training with a physiotherapist and a coach. Only yourself in the gym when personal training is being conducted. Group classes and Casual Gym Usage hours are available throughout each week. Group classes Monday - Friday. The Gym And Studio also provide a platform for the future generation of Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports Therapists, Personal Trainers and alike. Lease hours and days are priced to allow professionals to profit without repaying reception time. Finally, the gym and studio provides a private hire option for friends/family to train without distractions. A better you starts today.

Support Our Students & Receive Discount Physiotherapy.

Student Work Placements:
I regularly receive requests to facilitate Student Work placements and physiotherapy shadowing hours which support student's learning and education.

This is something I like to actively facilitate.
Jim's Gym offers a wide variety of coaching, rehabilitation and training.

To streamline and improve student experiences I want to offer a 25% (YES 25%) discount on Physiotherapy services booked on the following dates.

Using code "STUDENT" on any of the services listed below on the dates listed will automatically apply the 25% Discount.

Any TUESDAY or THURSDAY Between 16 April - 10th July.
Any Physiotherapy booking Monday - Friday 6-10th July.

What is included?
Physiotherapy Consultations.
Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Sessions (30/45/60/90 Minutes).
Lower / Upper Limb Biomechanical Assessments.
Full Body MOT's.
Sport Taping
Gait Analysis / Run Analysis
(If you have previously completed a gait analysis you may book another Gait Analysis Session for a Run Analysis.)

Why the discount?
Ensuring the students are receiving the highest learning quality possible it will allow the diary to focus on Physiotherapy services over Health, well-being and personal training during the dates student(s) may be present.

Please share with any friends / family who may require physiotherapy / assessments.

If you are using the code "STUDENT" and there is a student present on the day of your assessment you agree to have the student present during your assessment / rehabilitation session.
If on the day you decide not to permit the student on your assessment / session you will be expected to pay full price for the session prior to it taking place.

A reminder to everyone who has forgotten - It is Mother's Day on Sunday.

It isn't a reminder to do anything fancy. It is simply a reminder not to forget.

I'll head with my wife and kids to see my mother and grandmother for a coffee and cake.

The three mothers will have coffee and cake whilst myself and the other children (Some would say all the children) Will find a play area!

Walk jog run club

Every Wednesday
7-8pm

Last night we conducted an aerobic session we use to objectively assess improvement.

It was incredible to see some of the results.

We had people who were regularly walking and struggling to jog or run continuously 8 weeks ago and yesterday they managed to run a full 40 minutes!

Whether your goals are walking, jogging or running.

We facilitate.

We encourage.

We motivate.

It was amazing to see more new faces.

Every week since the walk jog run club started we have had new faces.
Let's keep that going!

We conducted a distance night at the start of January and February.

40 Minutes continuous running.

Maintaining a low heart-rate (Or working on bringing it down)

And feeling comfortable at the end of the session.

Injury frustrates us all but it's something that happens.

When we are injured we don't have to stop everything.

I've paused my run, swim and cycle because they aggravate my knee.

I will continue to work on my strengthening, core and rehabilitation exercises.

I'll reassess at the end of the week once the acute pain dies down and see what a likely rehab path is for myself.
