Physiotherapy - Injury assessment, rehabilitation, recovery and conditioning available within the centre and online. Biomechanical MOT's - Lower limb, upper limb or full body MOT's are

available to book. These MOT's will assess and diagnose to ensure you are maintaining yourself at the highest standard and able to continue moving pain free. Online Coaching & Personal Training - Bookable through the website or app. Personal training with a physiotherapist and a coach. Only yourself in the gym when personal training is being conducted. Group classes and Casual Gym Usage hours are available throughout each week. The Gym And Studio also provide a platform for the future generation of Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports Therapists, Personal Trainers and alike. Lease hours and days are priced to allow professionals to profit without repaying reception time. Finally, the gym and studio provides a private hire option for friends/family to train without distractions. A better you starts today.

April, what a month.

It started with our annual family weekend visiting before progressing to 3 working weekends in a row!

First up was The King John Way 300 Mile Cycle, an incredible inaugural event which is going to take place in our annual calendar with some improvements for next year.

I returned the Sunday PM and flew straight to Oslo Monday AM for a quick 2 day family break. It was a blast and the kids loved it.

Landing back Wednesday and going straight to .walk.jog.run before getting ready for our Annual Spires and Steeples challenge.
Another hugely successful walking marathon took place this year.

A few days back in the gym and we were off again. running test event covering ~80 miles on foot from the peaks, through Nottinghamshire and into Lincolnshire.

If that wasn't enough I had a quick detour from the test event to take part in sprint tri.

Overall it's been a hell of a month. I've made what I'd consider a good return from injury and seeing so many people achieve their goals is why I do what I do.

May is a lot calmer and a month for some family time on the weekends.
Don't relax though, we have so many more events coming up this year and our classes, programs and physio is the busiest it's ever been.

To all of you who are a part of this journey in and capacity.

Thank you for allowing me to be the one to get you to your goals.

I'll continue to do it, as long as you continue to show up, tell your friends and let's get them to reach their goals too.

Since we started this club in January we have had a new face attend EVERY week except for one.

When I see someone out of shape who is working towards becoming fitter, healthier and better.

I applaud.
I acknowledge.
I encourage.

We live in a world filled with hatred and double standards.

You hear it daily.

"He is fat he should get to the gym"

The moment they go to the gym or start making change, they're mocked.

If you're one of those who are mocking those making positive change.

At least they can make changes to their weight, hopefully you can your approach to others too.

At Jim's Gym we have built a platform for all abilities to progress.

I don't know who the woman is in this photo but to me, she's incredible.

It's hard enough to challenge yourself on fitness events. It's so much harder when more eyes are on your shape.

If she ever reads this, please keep hold of your confidence and you'll reap the rewards.

Whether you want to conquer 1, 2 or all 3 peaks we are there to support and encourage you to reach your goals.

Congratulations to Martin Davis Amy Mitchell and anyone else who undertook the Trident Sports Events Sprint Triathlon at Grantham Meres Leisure centre this weekend.

It was a brilliantly organised event from start to finish and talking with the team this morning I know they enjoyed the entire event, routes and atmosphere.

Martin is next up at Outlaw Half and Amy has a T100 in mind.

Keep challenging yourselves, keep moving forward and keep motivated!

Congratulations to Adrian Smith and Heather Halsall who joined me in taking on Rasselbock Running Super Secret Test Event this weekend.

Starting on Saturday morning at 0730hrs registration with a 0900hrs starting Chapel-en-le-Frith (the capital of the peak district, apparently!)

We were tasked with an array of challenges, riddles and navigation to try and decipher what had happened previously in this role-playing esq endurance event.

The event led us until 1800hrs~ on Sunday evening with countless envelopes opened, miles walked and communications used among the team.

A staggering effort from both of the team to conquer 80+ Miles across elevation, challenging terrain and my company.

It was an incredible event and weekend.
I can't wait to see your next challenge guys! Stay motivated.
