๐พ Tennis Elbow vs ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ Golferโs Elbow
Both are overuse injuries of the forearm tendons โ but they affect different sides of the elbow.
๐พ Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis)
Pain on the outside of the elbow from overuse of the wrist and finger extensors.
Often aggravated by gripping, lifting, typing, or racket sports.
๐๏ธโโ๏ธ Golferโs Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis)
Pain on the inside of the elbow from overuse of the wrist and finger flexors.
Common with throwing, gripping, and repetitive wrist flexion.
Both can cause pain, weakness, and difficulty with everyday tasks โ and both respond well to early treatment and load management.
Elbow pain isnโt always a tendon issue. A proper assessment helps rule out problems from the wrist, shoulder, neck, or nerves before treatment.
