This luxury 67 bedroomed care home includes facilities such as an in-house bar, restaurant standard dining rooms, a full beauty salon, and hairdressing room, a cinema, a convenience store, and outdoor terraces on each floor. The home offers large, beautiful gardens, with a bowling green, allotments, and private seating areas for family, friends, and residents to enjoy. All the bedrooms are designed to be spacious and all come fully furnished with en-suite and all include highly finished décor and interiors. There are also premium suites which all have their own kitchenettes or lounge areas and have been specially designed for couples or siblings but can be used individually also. This morning, we had lots of fun playing musical instruments bingo 🎵🥁 with a couple of exciting rounds and some sweet chocolate prizes which all our residents absolutely loved!

We then finished the session with a delicious treat , choosing between cherry cake or Guinness cake.

In the afternoon, we made the most of the sunshine by heading outside for garden walks, a game of bowling , and some mini golf . The residents really enjoyed the fresh air, great company, and those beautiful clear blue skies 💙

GoodMorning everyone ☘️

We had a wonderful time celebrating yesterday, with the home beautifully decorated and full of festive cheer 🇮🇪 Some of the ladies also enjoyed cappuccinos out on the upstairs balcony, making the most of the fresh air ☕🌿

In the afternoon, took us on a lovely trip down memory lane, finishing with a singalong to residents’ favourite songs 🎶 Residents also sampled a little and —some loved it, others not so much, but it brought plenty of smiles!
Overall, it was a fantastic day enjoyed by all 😊

Good morning and Happy St Patrick’s Day to you all!! ☘️🌈

Yesterday was a great day! We handed out the Daily Sparkle ✨ along with the activities list for all floors. In the morning upstairs, we went through the Daily Sparkle together, read it aloud 📖, and finished with a fun quiz 🧠🎉.

In the afternoon downstairs, we got creative making decorations for today—paper chains and four-leaf clovers ☘️💚. Overall, it was a very creative and enjoyable day! 🎨😊

This morning, we got creative with some painting flowers and nature scenes. 🌼🌿. A few of our residents even had a go at drawing portraits of each other, which brought plenty of laughter and smiles! We also enjoyed a sing-along to some favourite musicals .

By the afternoon, the fog had cleared and the sunshine made a welcome appearance , so we headed outdoors. Residents enjoyed games of Connect Four and bowls , while others relaxed with a refreshing drink and great company. We also put our thinking caps on for a fun quiz, along with word searches and word ladders to keep our brains active.A wonderful day filled with sunshine, laughter, and that special sense of community we cherish so much 💛🌞

With the sun making a glorious appearance yesterday ☀️, we switched things up and took the fun outdoors! 🌸

Some of our lovely ladies chose to relax in the sunshine with a good book or challenge themselves with one of our brain-booster activity sheets . Meanwhile, others were ready for action and jumped into a lively game of bowling and let’s just say, the competitive spirit definitely came out!

We made sure to bring out plenty of blankets so everyone could stay cosy while soaking up the sunshine the best of both worlds!

After enjoying the fresh air, we headed back inside and treated everyone to some posh coffees ☕to round off the afternoon in style. What a lovely, feel-good day it was! 💜💗

In the morning in Waddington we got everyone moving with some gentle exercises to upbeat music to keep the rhythm going. One of our residents requested some ABBA, so of course we put it on! There was lots of stretching, smiling, and mini pedal workouts.

In the afternoon, we were delighted to welcome our local church, who delivered a beautiful and thoughtful service for our residents. Everyone was fully engaged and really enjoyed being part of it.

Afterwards, we gathered together for tea, coffee, and some biscuits , followed by a lovely conversation reflecting on the service. It was a wonderful day filled with movement, music, faith, and friendship. 💖

What a wonderful day we had yesterday! ☀️

In the morning, we caught up with all the residents while handing out the new activities planner, making sure everyone knew what exciting things are happening this week ✨.

In the afternoon, Waddington and Ground Floor came together for a fun and friendly air hockey competition 🏒🎉 — lots of laughs and a bit of competitive spirit to see who would take the win!

We also enjoyed a lovely stroll around the garden 🌷🌿, and some of our residents relaxed outside with their hot drinks, soaking up the sunshine ☕🌞.

Overall, it was such a positive and feel-good day for everyone 💛

Today has been full of sunshine and laughter! ☀️😄

We enjoyed a trip to the cinema room where we watched Only Fools and Horses, and it definitely brought plenty of smiles and giggles from everyone! After that, we headed downstairs to soak up the beautiful afternoon sun and enjoyed some coffee and teas.

It was also one of our residents’ birthdays, which made the day even more special! 🎉🎂 Our talented chef prepared a big, delicious chocolate cake, and he was absolutely delighted when the staff gathered around to sing Happy Birthday to him. Such a heartwarming moment for all!

What a truly lovely day we had yesterday, filled with special memories and wonderful music 🎶✨

In the morning, we headed up to Waddington to chat about the different types of jewellery 💍 and enjoy some classic tunes from back in the day. We listened to legends like Elvis Presley and Doris Day, and had a great singalong to favourites like It’s a Long Way to Tipperary and Pack Up Your Troubles 🎵🎤 such a nostalgic start to the day!

In the afternoon, we celebrated one of our lovely residents’ birthdays 🥳🎂 and made sure to give him a huge Happy Birthday! After that, we were treated to fantastic entertainment from Stonestreet Sounds, who really took us down memory lane with their music 🎶💃. To make it even more special, they finished the session by playing some songs chosen by the residents themselves , which everyone absolutely loved ❤️

We wrapped up the day by cutting the birthday cake, sharing it around, and enjoying a well-earned cup of tea or coffee together the perfect ending to a beautiful day!
