Sunny Saturday calls for a round up of what we have been doing this week! ☀️

A busy week started off with getting crafty for our VE Day celebrations 🎨
Then we had some special visits from Tara from The Blighty Belles 🎙️ Mark from Sleaford Museum & our very cute furry pooch, Penny 🐶
Throughout the week we enjoyed pastries and fruit on the tea trolley 🥐 🍓and we ended the week with a celebration of VE Day with a scrumptious buffet tea 😋 special thanks to our amazing kitchen team for your thoughtful efforts 🇬🇧🩷

This afternoon we welcomed Mark from Sleaford Museum who came and talked to us about the museum and its history and also gave us a wonderful insight into Sleaford and its surrounding villages including our very own Ewerby! Mark also bought a few items with him which sparked some interesting discussions. Very informative and interesting. Our residents were very engaged and had lots of questions plus some new information for Mark to take away with him!

Today we welcomed Tara to St Andrew’s. Tara entertained us with some wonderful songs from the 1940’s era which our residents really enjoyed. There was lots of singing along to the songs 🎶 and we had a few fantastic dancers on the stage too! 💃🕺
