I can’t believe this January marks 7 years of me teaching YOGA full time !!
When I first made the decision to step fully into this path, I don’t think I could have truly understood what it would ask of me or what it would give back in return.
Teaching full time has never been “just a job” for me. It’s a living, breathing relationship with the practice, which constantly evolves. I feel incredibly passionate about sharing all aspects of yoga, the physical and spiritual threads which gently weave together..
What lights me up most is, creating accessible spaces where movement meets stillness, where strength meets softness, and where people feel safe to arrive exactly as they are.
For me, teaching is about empowering students to truly understand their own bodies, to listen with curiosity rather than judgement, and to honour both their strengths and their limitations-meeting themselves where they are, as they are on any given day.
Every class, workshop, or event is an invitation - not to be “better” or “more flexible,” but to listen, to feel, and to reconnect.
The freedom to shape my schedule, to follow my intuition, to prepare classes and experiences that truly align with my values - these are privileges I never take for granted.
Self-employment however; isn’t always serene or Instagram pretty. There are moments of doubt, financial uncertainty, and the mental load that comes with wearing all the hats- Teacher, organiser, marketer, accountant, administrator - sometimes all in the same day. There have been quiet periods, cancelled classes, and times where I questioned myself ….
But yoga has taught me -again and again - to meet those moments with compassion. To stay rooted. To breathe and to trust the process.
THANK YOU for trusting me with your practice and for being part of my beautiful Yoga family. Your presence means more than you know.
Here’s to many more years to come!💜🙏
