I can’t believe this January marks 7 years of me teaching YOGA full time !!

When I first made the decision to step fully into this path, I don’t think I could have truly understood what it would ask of me or what it would give back in return.

Teaching full time has never been “just a job” for me. It’s a living, breathing relationship with the practice, which constantly evolves. I feel incredibly passionate about sharing all aspects of yoga, the physical and spiritual threads which gently weave together..

What lights me up most is, creating accessible spaces where movement meets stillness, where strength meets softness, and where people feel safe to arrive exactly as they are.

For me, teaching is about empowering students to truly understand their own bodies, to listen with curiosity rather than judgement, and to honour both their strengths and their limitations-meeting themselves where they are, as they are on any given day.

Every class, workshop, or event is an invitation - not to be “better” or “more flexible,” but to listen, to feel, and to reconnect.

The freedom to shape my schedule, to follow my intuition, to prepare classes and experiences that truly align with my values - these are privileges I never take for granted.

Self-employment however; isn’t always serene or Instagram pretty. There are moments of doubt, financial uncertainty, and the mental load that comes with wearing all the hats- Teacher, organiser, marketer, accountant, administrator - sometimes all in the same day. There have been quiet periods, cancelled classes, and times where I questioned myself ….
But yoga has taught me -again and again - to meet those moments with compassion. To stay rooted. To breathe and to trust the process.

THANK YOU for trusting me with your practice and for being part of my beautiful Yoga family. Your presence means more than you know.

Here’s to many more years to come!💜🙏

Such a joy to spend this meaningful YOGA day with many wonderful ladies, reflecting on the past year, evaluating our lives, and setting heartfelt intentions for 2026 and solidifying it all on our beautiful vision boards!

You all made it very special and it was everything and more I would have hoped for 💜🙏🧘‍♀️thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Remember, setting intentions for the New Year is an important practice because it helps to provide focus and direction, increase motivation and commitment, cultivate a growth mindset, and improve mental and emotional well-being. By taking the time to set clear and specific intentions, we can create a roadmap for our personal and professional growth, and increase our chances of success in the coming year 2026!

*Trust yourself, your ideas & vision
*Define what success and happiness truly mean to you.
*Take action despite fear or self-doubt.
*Small, daily actions lead to big change over time.
*Build a life that reflects your values, not others’ expectations💜

Keep your eyes peeled for further events, until next time …

How lovely is this vision board made by my daughter probably 7-8 years ago!☺️✨👧❤️

It beautifully captures the simplicity and power of vision board making:) Created with curiosity, playfulness, and intention, it’s a reminder that it isn’t about perfection or pressure, it’s about giving shape to what matters to us, in a way that feels meaningful and true.

Vision boards are a powerful way to explore what you’re calling in for the year ahead. Through images, words, and symbols, you create a tangible reminder and a visual representation of your intentions of what you want to manifest in all aspects of your life: personal life, work, relationships, health and wellbeing.

Intentions provide a compass for navigating your path and help you stay aligned with your values and purpose.
Together, vision boards and intentions create a synergistic effect, amplifying your ability to attract abundance, joy, and fulfilment,.

That’s exactly why I’m hosting my NEW YEAR Yoga Day Retreat.

This retreat is not about fixing yourself or setting rigid resolutions.

Instead, it’s an opportunity to listen inwardly, reconnect with what truly matters to you, and plant seeds for the year ahead in a calm, grounded way.
We often know what we want, but we struggle to hold onto the feeling of it.

We will:
*RELEASE: A physical practice to let go of 2025’s heavy energy.
*UNCOVER: Guided journaling & intention setting
*CREATE: Fun & hands-on Vision Board session to visualise your goals, dreams, and the energy you want to embody.
Also
*Energising Hatha yoga practice in the morning
*Guided meditation and pranayama
*Nourishing Lunch
*Yin and restorative yoga in the afternoon
*End the day with a deeply relaxing yoga nidra session to integrate your intentions and leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready to embrace the New Year.

This New Year Yoga Day Retreat is more than just a workshop, it’s an opportunity to consciously design your future and step into the New Year with clarity, purpose, and belief in yourself. I can’t wait to share this experience with you!

Ready to kickstart your 2026 with a fresh perspective?

Most New Year’s resolutions scratch the surface, but my NEW YEAR YOGA DAY RETREAT is about going deeper.

It is designed specifically to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

We’ll spend the day moving our bodies, clearing mental clutter, and discovering the vibrant energy required to turn your desires into reality.

This retreat is for you if:
* You feel “stuck” in old patterns and want a fresh start.
* You have big goals for 2026 but aren’t sure how to find the energy  or motivation to pursue them.
* Need guidance to get clear on your 2026 vision.
* You simply need a day of self-care and community.

Stop chasing “busy” and start attracting what truly aligns with your soul.

DM if you have any questions.

How is the first week of January going ?
Have you set yourself too many goals, resolutions for the New Year? Are you still sticking to your set intentions ?

Remember, winter invites us to rest and restore, to conserve energy in these darker, colder months, withdraw, reflect, replenish and relax.

Winter is the most yin of all the seasons. The shorter days and more hours of darkness guide you to honour your body’s natural desire to seek greater rest, reflection and restoration.
Adopt this Winter ‘yin’ energy by putting a lot less on your to-do list, scheduling less throughout the week, saying ‘no’ to demands or invitations you’d rather not accept, and purposefully living life at a slower pace.
Try to DO less
BE MORE!

Yoga classes are back and running. Still time to join x link in bio

I still have spaces for my NEW YEAR YOGA DAY RETREAT-
Ideal time to pause after busy festive season and New Year madness, nourish your body and mind, and create space in order to manifest your intentions for 2026

I am glad to be back to a routine BUT......

Can you feel how the world is rushing right now? The sudden frenzy of resolutions, the pressure of “doing,” the loud demand to immediately be a new, improved version of yourself just because the calendar flipped a page!!!

It’s exhausting. And honestly? It’s unsustainable.

So, I am offering a counter-invitation☺️🧘‍♀️💜🧘
Instead of sprinting out of the gate, I invite you to begin this traditional New Year in a slow and sacred way.

Let’s consciously set the tone for the year ahead, not by the speed of our actions, but by the depth of our presence.
How we begin matters.
If we start with frantic energy, we invite anxiety. If we start with grounding and intention, we invite peace!

Join me this term to explore GENTLE BACKBENDS FOR BACK CARE.
Backbends not as “deep shapes” but as integrated, supportive movements of the whole spine.

Before we strengthen the back of the body, our task will be to open the front. When the chest, shoulders, hip flexors, and thighs are restricted, backbends often collapse into the lower back creating compression and pain.
By creating space in the front body first, we allow the spine to extend with ease, support, and safety.

The first class targets the front of the shoulders and chest , but also front of the hips, legs preparing the body for gentle, integrated back bending in the weeks to come.

This is not about sweaty power flows or achieving perfect deep back bending yoga poses!

My Emphasis will be on
🧘‍♀️Front body openness = back body ease
🧘Keeping backbends low, long, and slow
🧘‍♀️Breath as our guide—to find accessible range of motion preventing discomfort.

We will move with intentional slowness, listening to what we actually need and how we feel.
