The nervous system doesn’t need fixing, it needs support….

Yesterday I gave mine exactly that……I took the time out for the afternoon to nourish my nervous system so I can show up fully for you this week.

It was a wonderful afternoon to regulate the nervous system by :
*Time in nature
*Mindfulness meditation
*Movement meditation
*Yoga
*Breath regulation
*Intention setting
*Journaling
*Affirmations
*Yoga nidra
*Vagus nerve toning
*Grounding
*Listening
*Observing
*Noticing
*Slowing
*Feeling
*Less doing , more being !

🧠Small moments of intentional rest like this can be deeply regulating.

A quiet, mindful moment in the sunshine and nature is my therapy ! 

Nature has such a beautiful way of guiding us back to ourselves….
With here, it’s the perfect reminder to step outside and reconnect with the beauty all around (and within)☺️ 💜

Maybe today that looks like:
🪻a mindful walk
 🫁a few deep breaths in the fresh air
🌞or simply pausing to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

Your practice doesn’t have to happen on the mat, it can be woven into these simple, everyday moments 🌞

Are you ready to return to a routine? Step into Spring with a dedicated yoga practice, feeling more balanced and connected.

My community classes are a great way to bring a regular and consistent yoga practice into your life, and this is one of the best ways to reap the benefits of Yoga.

Classes are aimed at all levels of experience, whether you are a beginner or an advanced Yogi.
I offer modifications so you can adapt the practice to your individual needs on any given day.

You don’t need to be flexible, wear fancy yoga gear, or know all the names of the postures.

Classes include:
• Hatha Yoga
• Yin Yoga
• Vinyasa Yoga
• Restorative Yoga
• Yoga Nidra
• Pranayama & Breathwork
• Mindfulness & Meditation
• Relaxation

All classes resume from Tuesday 21st April

Another financial year done 💷✔️
As I am on my Easter break, I had some time to reflect on these 12 months ….

I would like to send a Massive Thank you to every single one of you who attended a class, joined a workshop, event or retreat over these past twelve months.
🧘‍♀️💜🧘( over 325 hours of teaching )🧘‍♀️💜🧘

I understand we are living in challenging financial times, and I feel incredibly grateful you still choose to invest your precious time and money into yoga with me, and allowing me to do what I love.

Yoga teaches us the importance of showing up for ourselves, even when things feel heavy….
So ….Thank you for showing up, for supporting my small business, and for being part of this journey with me.

Have you ever tried tennis ball to release tight muscles, fascia ?

It’s a great self help tool to target deep seated tension in the muscles, facia as well as deeper layers of connective tissues. It could be a great complement your training regime or other therapies like physio or massage.

But you can be your own  with such a simple tool  🎾🎾🎾

🎾It is an affordable option that can give you all of the benefits of a massage without the need to leave your home, particularly when you don’t have the time or extra cash to visit a spa or therapist!

🎾It is pretty a safe and effective technique that can be used to target specific trigger points, or areas of tightness in your muscles that are hard-to-reach - like the back, shoulders, glutes and feet.

🎾Make sure you don’t apply pressure to the bones and organs and that the pressure is “feel good pressure” without causing you pain.

🎾It’s a cost-effective and convenient way to incorporate self-care into your routine.

This week, we’ll be blending the slow, nourishing practice of Yin Yoga with the powerful simplicity of tennis balls to gently access those deep, hard to reach fascial knots.
This will be our final week of classes before Easter break.

Come as you are, and leave feeling lighter, softer, and more at ease.
