Flu and Covid vaccination season is upon us! 💉🦠
▶️We have started inviting in our pregnant patients and children entitled to the nasal flu vaccination, with appointments for these starting later this month.
▶️For those eligible for the flu vaccination for other reasons, include age, we will be inviting you over the next couple of weeks to book in. As we normally do, we will have a couple of bumper Saturday clinics, this year these will be on 4th and 11th October – so keep your diaries free on these dates!
▶️We will be inviting all our eligible patients shortly, please ensure that we have your correct contact details so we can get the message to you!

Due sickness absences, paired with annual leave, we are unfortunately experiencing some shortness of staff. This has had an effect across all departments.

We ask that our patients are aware of the following to avoid unnecessary traffic to Reception:
- For minor illness symptoms, think Pharmacy First and NHS 111
- If you have submitted a SystmConnect request, we will contact you as appropriate. Please do not put in any further requests to chase the progress, if you have any queries or updates to your request, please call us on 01529 303301 to speak to our Reception team

Please be aware - we are currently experiencing some technical issues with our phone lines, affecting connection of calls. Our providers are aware and are working on a solution. Thank you for your patience.

When visiting the practice over the next few weeks, please be aware that we have some building works starting. This is part of our building improvement plan and will result in some new consulting rooms.

In the meantime, whilst the work is going on, you may find there is an increased level of noise onsite. We are not expecting any further disruptions than this, but will keep our patients updated of any progress or news linked to this project.

**UPDATE AS OF MAY 2025 - Treatment Room Service**

A little while ago we posted about our plan to start wound care appointments again at the practice. We are happy to confirm that, as of this month, we have now recommenced these appointments. We are currently in the process of transitioning the care of any patients currently attending the Grantham Health Clinic back to ourselves.

If you have any upcoming appointments booked with the Grantham Clinic, please presume these are being held unless you hear otherwise. For all patients needing dressings/stitch removals going forward, you will no longer be directed to the Grantham clinic and will instead be able to receive your care at the practice within the parameters of the Treatment Room service.
