Job Summary:

The post holder will also provide leadership help and support to our road staff and everyone within the team and refer/escalate issues to the relevant manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for forging a close working relationship with clients within their remit, liaising with them daily, handling complaints and escalations within a measured timeline.

The position requires the post holder to have experience in management of operations, staff and fleet. This role is non-clinical but clinical knowledge will be an advantage the post holder must have a very good knowledge of ambulance operations and how the NHS works.

The work requires a level of fitness for driving, the movement and handling of sick and injured patients, and the carrying of patients or equipment over short distances and between levels.

If you already have an FREC3/ FAAW qualification this would be an advantage.

Previous driving skills in ambulances, minibuses or larger type vehicles would be desirable. You must be over 21, have held a full UK driving license for 12 months with a maximum of 3 points; certain endorsements may also be prohibitive.
