Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for forging a close working relationship with clients within their remit, liaising with them daily, handling complaints and escalations within a measured timeline.

The position requires the post holder to have experience in management of operations, staff and fleet. This role is non-clinical but clinical knowledge will be an advantage the post holder must have a very good knowledge of ambulance operations and how the NHS works.

iON Ambulance Care are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals for their Patient Transport Service crews, on a Full time basis

Experience preferred, but not essential as full training given.

We are looking for staff in the Slough area to join us in providing high standards of care for our patients.

You must be fit and able to help with lifting and carrying our patients up and down stairs able with pushing and pulling stretchers up and down ramps. ( Training will be provided)

Parking available on site, all uniform is provided .

The work requires a level of fitness for driving, the movement and handling of sick and injured patients, and the carrying of patients or equipment over short distances and between levels.

If you already have an FREC3/ FAAW qualification this would be an advantage.

Previous driving skills in ambulances, minibuses or larger type vehicles would be desirable. You must be over 21, have held a full UK driving license for 12 months with a maximum of 3 points; certain endorsements may also be prohibitive.
