We're feeling the community spirit here at Signature at Farnham Common! 💙

It's been a real pleasure welcoming the Burnham Beeches Rotary Committee to our pub, The Caldicott, each month for their regular meetings. We're delighted to host such a dedicated group and are incredibly grateful for their generous £100 donation to our chosen charity BRACE Alzheimer's Research. Thank you! 🙏

We’re also excited to be taking part in Farnham Orchard Day event on 27th September between 12-4 with our Bottle Tombola stall. An afternoon which the Burnham Beeches Rotary are busy organising – all in support of great causes - and we hope to see lots of friends and families there.

Being part of the local community means so much to us, and we’re thoroughly enjoying getting to know this wonderful group of people. Here's to many more great moments together! 💬🌟

This summer, our residents have truly put their green fingers to work, nurturing herbs, fruits and plants with love and care. With a little help along the way, we’ve seen our vegetable garden flourish beautifully 🍅

Our talented chefs now bring the garden to the table, using our home-grown rosemary, thyme, mint, dill and chervil to add that extra burst of freshness to their delicious, nutritious meals. 🥗🍴

It’s wonderful to see everyone engaged, sharing smiles and stories while tending the garden—and even more rewarding when we all get to enjoy the flavours together. 🌿💚

🌿 Afternoon Outing to see our friends at Denham Garden Village

Signature at Farnham Common's residents had a lovely afternoon exploring Denham Garden Village yesterday. We started with a relaxing cup of tea in the coffee area, followed by a gentle stroll around the village centre.

Everyone especially enjoyed viewing the historical photographs that showcased the transformation of the old Licensed Victuallers site into the beautiful garden village it is today. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane!

It was so lovely to see some of their owners who had joined us for our recent Pimm’s & Prosecco Afternoon Tea, meet new friends and discover a shared love of Scrabble We're now plotting a (friendly... if that’s possible! 😄) Scrabble competition using our giant Scrabble board. Watch this space!

What a wonderful August Bank Holiday weekend we’ve had at Signature at Farnham Common! Our residents and team made the most of the summer sunshine with plenty of activities, laughter, and time spent together in the garden. Today we also had the joy of celebrating International Dog Day 🐾 – our furry friends brought so many smiles and cuddles, making the day extra special. From games and music to relaxing in the fresh air, it was a joy to see everyone enjoying each other’s company and celebrating the season in style.

🌸 Pimm's & Prosecco Afternoon Tea – A Wonderful Success! 🍓🥂

No sunshine? No problem! Signature at Farnham Common's Pimm's & Prosecco Afternoon Tea was a truly delightful occasion – full of music, fun and fantastic company.

Guests enjoyed delicious food lovingly prepared by our talented Chef, with live music and song from the brilliant Marty & Del adding to the joyful atmosphere.

It was incredible to welcome so many family and friends – your support helped us raise valuable funds for BRACE Alzheimer's Research, a charity close to our hearts. 💜

Despite the grey skies, the smiles were bright, and the afternoon was full of warmth and fun. A smashing event that we’ll all remember for a very long time! 🌦️🎶🫖

🍻 Cheers to International Beer Day! 🍻

International Beer Day is celebrated every year on the first Friday of August, honouring the craft of brewing and the people behind every pint.

What better way to celebrate than to throw open the doors of our very own pub – The Caldicott! Our residents gathered to enjoy a selection of beers, traditional pub snacks, and plenty of laughter.

It was a lovely afternoon filled with great conversation, a few stories of pub antics from years gone by, and a toast (or two!) to the role beer has played in culture and community. Here's to good company and even better memories! 🍺💬✨
