When the package of care changes from unaided to aided can be very unsettling. We as a care company can help you to adapt to your new situation. With the right equipment we can assist you to get back to being mobile and help you adjust to the new way of life. Bed bound? Non verbal? Speech issues? Have trouble feeding?

Don’t worry we have you covered, not only will we still keep you involved in every point of your care but we will make it fun doing so.

The smallest signs of a non verbal due to illness of dementia can be difficult to detect if a person is happy.

We look for smiling eyes 👀
A brief smile 😊
A winking 😉

We will ask you questions and let you know what we are going to do. We will play music, dance, sing.

We will find a way to uplift you. 🥰

We will interact and carry on making you feel heard.

Even when bed bound our team will hoist you out of bed and still make life enjoyable for you.

When you’re chatting with your client from the kitchen whilst making her dinner, she starts talking about my sunglasses and how she likes them. I bring her dinner out and this is what was presented to me once in the lounge 😂😂 get yourself a team of carers where they have fun and a laugh with your loved ones or yourself.

HAPPY MONDAY!!

A great morning had with one of our service users, And people say they hate Monday’s, well not with us.

We like to make sure everyone is happy and getting the most out of their time with us, we encourage a light morning leg exercise helping to get the blood flowing so our clients are ready to go downstairs and start their day with a nice coffee and breakfast. No need to worry about cleaning up, while you eat we will sort the kitchen out and tidy anything away too. 🥰

Today Kelly spent the morning with one of our clients at a Ladies coffee morning.

Each week they have a talks. A person comes in and will talk about either bereavement, health checks ie making sure ladies check their breast for cancer , menopause, depression, mental health and ect.

A group where everyone is welcome and to make friends , knit 🧶, make hot drinks and biscuits.

Getting out into your local community does wonders to the mind body and soul.

And indeed it’s even better when it’s a nice sunny morning have a good Tuesday 🥰

Another afternoon of cooking a healthy home made meal, traditional shepherds pie with sweet potato on request of our client 🥰

Meal prep for clients, to help get the nutrients that is needed without having to have processed foods. We will put together a meal this was beef stew dumplings, and vegetables followed by a small rhubarb & strawberries crumble, also have a lasagna all home cooked.

Today we took one of our past clients spouse out for lunch to follow up after the passing of her husband. We may have lost a client but we gained a friend and we hope to continue to be a part of her life for many years to come. Our job doesn’t stop just because a service user has passed away, after care is very important to the family’s that have lost someone. To go from multiple daily calls to none can feel isolating so we want them to know they can still call us for help, advice or a chat to also feel supported in the future.
