It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Age UK’s 2-year celebration of the Dementia Friendly Royal Borough (D.F.R.B.) 💙

A huge thank you to Steve, who has played a key role in growing these events and bringing together so many brilliant companies and service providers — all working towards creating a truly dementia-friendly community across the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM) 🌿

It was amazing to see the talented singers from Young People with Dementia (YPWD) perform for the very first time — what an inspiring moment! 🎶✨

Wonderful work by everyone involved — achievements like these deserve to be celebrated! 🥳👏

Team VA Berkshire had a fantastic time at the Pub & Pie Quiz hosted by Age Concern Windsor at the Spencer Denney Centre last Friday! 🍻🥧

Together, over £1,000 was raised to support vital services for the elderly in our community — including social groups, meals on wheels, activity clubs & more 💛

A huge thank you to our amazing team: Debbie (Care Manager), Ritisha (BDE), our wonderful carers Tia & Patrycja, and Shai (Care Manager from West London) for taking part.

Special shoutout to the chef — the homemade pie & mash was next level! 👏

Last Friday morning, Beaconsfield Heights Care Home hosted a lovely Macmillan Coffee Morning. We at VA Berkshire were so grateful to donate, take part, and help raise funds for such a meaningful cause. Always proud to support our community – especially when it involves cake! 💚🍰

It was such a cosy, intimate evening with delicious food and even better company.
