Do you know your numbers? 🩺

A brilliant day at Observatory House with . We’ve been checking everyone’s blood pressure and chatting about what it actually means.

Blood pressure is the force of your blood pushing against your arteries. Keeping it in a healthy range is really important because high blood pressure often has no symptoms, but can increase your risk of serious conditions like heart disease and stroke.

Taking a few minutes to check it can make a big difference to your health 💙

The MMRV vaccine protects against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chickenpox) and is an important part of the childhood vaccination schedule.

If your child has missed any vaccines, or if you have recently moved to the UK from another country, it is never too late to catch up. The NHS offers free catch-up vaccinations to help ensure children and adults are protected and up to date. Checking your vaccination record and booking missing doses can help protect both your family and the wider community. 💉🛡️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Norovirus is a stomach bug that causes diarrhoea and vomiting. It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about 2 days.

You can usually treat yourself at home, but the most important thing is to rest and have lots of fluids.
