Crosby House Surgery Crosby House Surgery is a page to update patients about what is happening in the surgery We pride ourselves in giving the best care to our patients.

Crosby House is proud to be the oldest practice in Slough, previously run from a small house, modernised and expanded in 1991, with an additional extension in 2004. We care for 11,000 patients under a PMS contract between 2 full time partners and 4 salaried doctors, along with 2 practice nurses and 15 other valuable staff supporting our work. We have a mixed white/ethnic urban population in Central Slough with high disease prevalence. We run all the usual diabetes, asthma, hypertension, smoking cessation clinics, and our Quality & Outcomes Framework points are consistently amongst the highest in the UK.

The 'Stop Smoking, Feel Happier' campaign is making special appearances across the whole of the South East.

On Sat 7 Feb, they're visiting the Town Square in Slough. Pop down for info about quitting smoking, support available, & maybe even set your quit date there & then!

Sessions are open to mums experiencing low mood, stress, lonely, isolated or a diagnosed mental health condition. The sessions are lots of fun and suitable for all abilities. The sessions are all delivered by a qualified instructor and all equipment will be provided.

Find out how to access high quality health information from trusted sources to help you stay healthy and manage illnesses effectively.

Learn how to access and use the NHS app and other trusted sources of health information. We will also demonstrate the AskSARA resource which gives personalised advice to make daily living safer and simpler for a wide range of physical and mental health needs, plus the Carers UK platform.

The Healthier Slough team will be on hand to provide health checks, wellbeing advice and referrals to a range of services.

Due to the cold weather expected, in particular at night, we have activated our Severe Weather Emergency Protocols (SWEP).

The SWEP has been activated today (Tuesday 30 December) and will be in place over the next few days.

If you see anyone sleeping rough, and they want access to SWEP Emergency Accommodation, they can be referred to the Rough Sleeping Team via StreetLink - https://orlo.uk/R3ORk

Referrals outside of office hours (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) will need to be processed by the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) who can be contacted on 01344 351 999.

Please call 999 if the person is in immediate danger, needs medical assistance, or is under 18.
