Hey! Pilates classes on Canvey Island!

(…Well, it’s late on a Monday night and I was just thinking I haven’t posted for a few weeks, so here I am!!) 😇

I’m still at St. Nicholas’ church, four times a week, offering some lovely fun and easy Pilates classes (with just a bit of a challenge thrown in sometimes to keep you interested!!) 😌

Men and women both welcome!

Tuesday and Thursdays 1 - 2 pm
Tuesday evenings 6.15 - 7.15pm
Thursday evenings 6 - 7pm (this is the easy, easy beginners’ starter class!)

£12 per class

Pilates is fun, easy to do, (with my excellent clear instructions!) 😜 and you will be in a very small group (no more than 10 - usually less!) in all classes.

They are all 55 minute classes.

How about finally starting Pilates classes in 2026?

My Pilates classes are Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes 1 - 2pm

And

Tuesday and Thursday evenings:

6.15 - 7.15pm on TUESDAY
6 - 7pm on THURSDAY

(Thursday is the easiest class - designed for people new to exercise, or who are now feeling well enough to start exercising again after recent surgery or illness.)

All classes £12, pay as you go - cash or BACS on the day.

All classes are with me, Elise. I have 30 years experience in practice as a registered osteopath, and nearly seven years teaching matwork Stott Pilates as a Certified Stott Pilates Instructor.

Come and join us at a fun beginners’ class!

Commit to getting fit and make a difference to your health!

Please bring your own yoga/workout mat if you have one - all other small weights and equipment will be provided. ❤️ (But do please feel free to bring your own equipment anyway if you have things you’d like to use!)

Spaces are limited on Tuesday evenings but I have some available at the moment for all my other classes. 😀

If you need to add something to it, my Pilates classes are: Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes 1 - 2pm
Tuesday evenings 6.15 - 7.15pm
Thursday evenings (super nice and easy “Starter Pilates”) - 6 - 7pm

The Thursday evening class is VERY easy and friendly - for people with, or recovering from, health issues, or post-surgery, anyone who is feeling stiff, tense and unfit but wanting to make a change.

All classes are £12 at St. Nicholas Church hall, Long Road

All classes are with me, Elise. I have over 30 years experience in practice as a registered osteopath, and seven years of those teaching Stott Pilates as a Certified Stott Pilates Teacher.

Yes! We have some Pilates! Whoopee!

Today at 1 - 2pm LUNCHTIME class!!
Again at 6 - 7pm evening class!

All classes are at St. Nicholas Church in Long Road, it’s the church almost opposite the junior school (with all the triangles!)

My Thursday *evening* classes are easy, easy, easy Pilates for people who have never done it before, for people who are recovering from illness or surgery or are feeling very unfit and want to up their fitness levels. (But in the case of surgery, please make sure you have your doctors’ or consultants’ approval before starting an exercise regime.)

This is a really good starter class, so come along to improve your fitness, flexibility, tone up, lose weight, feel better!!

Guess what is happening now on Thursdays???!
My new THURSDAY evening beginners’ Pilates classes are on at the church!!

This Thursday, tomorrow, the class will be 5.45 - 6.45pm.

Let me know if you are interested!

These are “beginners’ beginners” Pilates classes, really gentle and easy! They are starter classes - for people who don’t exercise, or don’t feel like they exercise enough but have decided to make a start; for people who are recovering from surgery or illness (but are feeling well enough to begin exercising again!)

Basically: Relaxed, easy classes to improve your general fitness, work on your flexibility, lose weight and tone up!

I offer Pilates classes on:
