What a fabulous evening facilitating week 4 of wellbeing through nature programme.
Amazing thought provoking conversation, art and mindfulness, just what you need to start the week off.

We connected art with nature, recognising patterns in everything we see and things we feel.

Reclaiming Wellbeing will be hosting more of these 8 week programmes in the coming months, look out for further information.

La Luz Services offers creative sessions to allow individuals to immerse themselves in the arts, using colour and calm to create your own personal masterpiece centred around your emotions, thoughts and creativity.

30 minutes just for you! Sound like a dream? Come down to Salvation Army on Friday mornings, join in with the stay and play from 9:30am, and at 9:45am sneak off to join the parents group.

A judgment free group, with conversations, support, laughs and relaxation. Then we go back to the children (if you came with your child) back in the stay and play at around 10:15am.

Free tea and coffee
Free healthy snacks for the little ones.

If you would like to join the parents group but not the stay and play, no problem! Just let them know at the entrance and you'll be guided to the parents group room.

🚀 We are kicking off the weekend with some more good news!🚀

We’ve been awarded a £15,000 grant from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to launch our brand new DigiTribe Hub on Halesowen High Street!

This funding means we can finally open the doors to a dedicated space for neurodivergent young people and families - a place to feel safe, seen, and supported.

We’ll be delivering:

✅ STEM, Lego, DnD, Warhamer, Minecraft Education with MineMania, E-Sports, craft and social clubs for children who are home ed/EOTAS/unable to attend school

✅ After-school family sessions and weekend sessions

✅ Volunteer opportunities for young people and parents

✅ Space for partner organisations to run creative and inclusive sessions

All from our newly secured high street unit thanks to Centric Community Projects Limited bringing life back into an empty space and turning it into something powerful.

Huge thanks to Dudley borough council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for recognising the value of community-rooted, inclusive spaces like ours. And the Halesowen BID and Dudley CVS or your continued support.

We are collaborating with two other community organisations, La Luz Life Coaching & Wellbeing Services and Active Bodies 4 Focused Minds who will be utilising the space during the week and weekend to offer a range of wellbeing and activity sessions for different age ranges.

We will have an opening date very soon - slightly delayed due to roof leaks and fire safety and electrical work being completed - watch this space!

La Luz will be collaborating with Reclaiming Wellbeing Through Nature 🌱

We are pleased to offer a free, 8-week course for adults, designed to explore mental health and promote wellbeing through community and nature-based activities.

Over the 8 weeks, participants will take part in activities which will help participants to:

🌱 Build community connections
🌱 Explore mental health and wellbeing
🌱 Get creative

La Luz is excited to be running week 4, so if you are a fan on Coffee and Canvas, this is a great opportunity to take part in a similar activity.

However, please sign up if you would like to take part in ALL 8 weeks of the course.

This course is fully funded by The National Lottery, and requires a commitment to the full 8 weeks to ensure the greatest benefit for all involved.

📅 Places are limited – early registration is strongly recommended. Registration will be required to attend.

Our new space in Halesowen, is starting to take shape.
and Active bodies 4 focused lives, have been working hard to get our pop up hub up and running.

Thank you to the amazing people, local schools and organisations who have donated items.

We have one more ask please, we are currently in need of some flooring.
- Do you own a flooring shop and would like to donate to this amazing space? We would be grateful of offcuts also.
- Are you getting rid of any large area rugs? Carpet tiles etc?
Any donations of flooring would be gratefully considered, please do get in touch.
