As we head towards the summer break. You may be thinking about taking a break from group because the children are at home. Don't worry, we got you.
Children are welcome at all groups. Wednesdays we also have free wifi, so if kids want to bring devices along that fine. Headphones would be appreciated as then they can enjoy their favourite shows or games and not disturb anyone.
Wednesdays we have several sessions to choose from so if you normally attend an evening session, why not attend a morning session so you can still enjoy the rest of the day with the kids.

My Wonderful Wednesday Slimming world members lost an amazing 124lb last week. That's over 8 1/2 stone gone in one week. I had the pleasure of giving of the following awards:

With recent news that Mounjaro will soon be available on the NHS, I want to reassure you that our Slimming World group at The Dorothy Parkes Centre, Smethwick are still proudly here, ready to support you every step of the way.

This medication is being recognised for its ability to help some people kick-start their weight loss journey—but it’s important to know that it's not a magic fix. GPs will be looking for patients to commit to what's known as wrap-around support—and that’s where we come in.

WRAP AROUND support means more than just taking medication. It’s about making real lifestyle changes: building healthier habits, shifting your mindset, enjoying satisfying food, and creating a routine that helps you feel good—both physically and emotionally. It’s about sustainable results that last far beyond the prescription.

If your GP offers Mounjaro as part of your health plan, know that you don’t have to do it alone. Our friendly, welcoming Slimming World community is here for you. With my guidance and the support of our amazing members, we’ll help you feel in control, confident, and empowered on your journey to better health.
