Ovarian Cancer Awareness is a reminder to know the symptoms and act early.

Symptoms can be vague and may include:

- persistent bloating
- tummy pain
- feeling full quickly
- needing to wee more often
- unexplained changes in appetite

If you notice ongoing symptoms that are unusual for you, it’s important to speak to your GP. When discussing symptoms, let your doctor know about any family history of cancer, not just ovarian cancer and not only in parents or siblings, as this can help assess your overall risk.

Keeping up to date with cervical screening when invited is also an important part of protecting your gynaecological health. Early action can make a real difference. 🎗️💙🩺✨

Have you heard of the term prediabetes?

Prediabetes, sometimes called borderline diabetes, means your blood sugar levels are higher than they should be.

If you have prediabetes, you have a high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, but by making health changes it is often possible to prevent type 2 and even reverse the diagnosis.

Prediabetes is estimated to affect around one in 12 people and is diagnosed with a blood test. It's more common in people living with overweight and obesity but can also affect people of a healthy weight.

Visit our new prediabetes hub to learn more about the condition, what to do if you've been given a diagnosis, healthy eating tips and information on reversing prediabetes 👉 https://orlo.uk/prediabetes-hub_MdBjo
